Hey friends,
A facial freshener or mist is a must-have in summers. A couple of spritzes can immediately add moisture and perk up your dull, dehydrated and “sun-damaged” skin. I got this neem and cucumber facial mist for my oily, acne-prone skin and today, I will be sharing my two cents on it.

Product Description:
Khadi Pure Gramodyog™ Herbal Neem and Cucumber Face Spray freshens up the face by removing dirt and cleaning pores. Active herbs like neem and basil protect the skin from germs make skin soft and fresh instantly.
My Experience with Khadi Pure Neem and Cucumber Face Freshener:
It comes in a transparent plastic bottle with the bright green liquid. The 100 ml bottle is convenient to hold and carry, and the clear cap sits tightly. The spray dispenser releases a fine spritz, which covers half face in a go. The body of the bottle has product details written on a label.
Let’s start with the scent. I expect a face freshener to have a lovely scent, jasmine, rose or such. I have used Kama Ayurveda face mists and Yves Rocher Cooling mist, all of which score high on the fragrance. This mist, on the other hand, has a scent resembling Margo or Medimix soaps- probably due to the presence of neem in it – not a very soothing or appealing scent.
The texture is watery, with added green color. The droplets get dispersed evenly on the face. It soothes skin, but doesn’t really have a cooling effect. It makes my dehydrated skin immediately hydrated and doesn’t feel greasy or heavy on skin. It doesn’t sit on the surface, instead is lapped up my thirsty skin in no time. On my lips, it feels a little bitter due to the presence of neem, but I have made peace with it.
For acne-prone skin, it does help. My skin problems have subsided lately, but the high heat and humidity does make a few zits pop up. This mist calms down my skin, especially if I am on the go or after washing my face. This adds a little moisture and makes skin fresh. My zits disappear the next day when I use this facial mist.
I have used this product over makeup too to add a little dewiness and prevent my base from looking very flat and patchy. It does a decent job of making it look seamless, but doesn’t affect its lasting power or longevity. Overall, I like this product and have no qualms about recommending it, especially to oily skin.
