Hello, Beauties!
Wish you very happy holidays. The year is going to end soon. During this holiday season, we all have lots of parties and obviously, New Year’s Eve. These are all beautiful days of celebration for us. So today I did this look for the parties you might be planning to attend. New Year parties need some boldness with a touch of elegance. Today’s look is all about that bold black with sexy red and I absolutely love such gorgeous yet wearable makeup looks this season. Now, let’s get into the step by step tutorial.
Eyes:
Step 1:
First I applied reddish maroon shadow to define my eyes and then blended it well.
Step 2:
Next, I applied a black shadow on the crease and made it deeper to get a well-defined look. I blended the shade with the maroon shadow on the crease line so that it helps to get that smooth natural smoky look.
Step 3:
I then used the black shadow and again applied it to both corners and crease to get that bold look.
Step 4:
Next, I applied a red lipstick as a shadow on the center of my eyelid to create this look and then topped with a reddish shadow over it.
Step 5:
I also applied the same black shadow on the lower line and blended the shadow with the same maroon shade to get a natural smooth line.
Step 6:
To highlight my eyes, I applied a reddish pink liner on the waterline and applied a golden shadow on the inner corner.
Step 7:
To finish this look I applied mascara on both lashes. Also, I filled my eyebrows with a brown eyebrow pencil. To highlight my brow bones, today I used a beige shadow too.
Face:
Once, I completed my eye makeup, I cleaned all the fallout and then I applied a hydrating primer. I have some small allergic rashes on my face so today, I needed some coverage. Hence I applied a full coverage foundation. I also used a concealer to highlight the under eye area. I blended all the shades smoothly with a buffing brush and set my base makeup with a setting powder. I wanted to keep my makeup warm and natural so I used a warm bronzer to contour my face and applied a rose pink blush on the cheeks. Then I sprayed a facial mist and set all the powdery makeup. To finish this look, I used a gold highlighter to add a luminescent glow on the face.
Lips:
On my lips, I applied a gorgeous red and topped it with a matte liquid lipstick that is perfect for the holidays.
Here is my final look. I wore a black dress and added a silver choker with crystal earrings. Such accessories are perfect for a New Year party and overall the makeup enhances the outfit perfectly. Hope you like this tutorial & style it in your own way.
