My Experience with Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra Bomb Serum Mask:
Garnier Skin Naturals Hydra Bomb Serum Mask comes in an attractive packaging showing a gradation from silver to blue colour and has picture of pomegranates on it. This mask has to be torn from the top and then the sheet mask is taken out. It can be opened easily and the mask is soaked heavily in serum. All the claims and the instructions are written on the mask. The packaging feels very sleek and can be easily taken around while travelling. Overall, I love the attractive packaging of these masks.
The sheet masks are quite thick and the top protective blue film has to be removed before the application of mask to reveal fresh serum infused sheet mask. These sheet masks contain enough serum and even after mask application is done, there will be enough serum left to just apply it on the face. The smell is very refreshing and soothing. The fragrance feels very nice and I enjoy the fresh fragrance of it during application.
I love to use sheet masks every day as a part of my skin care routine. They just tone and keep the skin alive and hydrated. Sheet masks can be best enjoyed when they are chilled. So, after a day of tiredness, it feels quite relaxing and luxurious to have this facial treatment.
The mask was large enough to cover my face and it fitted my face appropriately. It can easily cover all shapes of faces easily. As per the instructions, it is said to keep the mask for 15 minutes. However, I keep it for about 30 minutes for complete absorption of serum. I also pat the sheet mask gently on the face for better absorption. It is recommended to leave the mask for 15 minutes. It is best to keep the mask for 30 minutes as in 15 minutes time period, the mask still feels very moist. The mask sticks very well and one can walk around with the mask on. It has no chances of falling off from the face.
After I removed the mask, the sheet still felt moist and I used on my neck to use the residue serum. Now, let’s talk about the after effects of this mask. Firstly, it gave an instant boost of hydration to my face. My face felt baby soft and smooth to touch. It had a healthy glow to it and all the tiredness was gone. But one thing that I did not like about this was the sticky feeling after removal. The serum was still there on the face and it takes about a couple of hours more for complete absorption. This property was noticed for all the variants. If you are going out somewhere after using this mask, then you have to use some compact or loose powder for a matte finish. Then what is the point of using this mask?? I feel that the best time to apply it is at the night time before going to sleep. That will give maximum time for the mask to show the results.
This hydrated feeling stays for a day or two. If you have extremely dry skin like me, you would have to use it again on the third day. It is great to be used for winters. It is a nice way to get rid of dull and lifeless texture of skin. It effectively arrests dry patches and is a great treat to pamper your skin every day. This mask doesn’t brighten or add any extra radiance to face. The best part is it has suited me well. There were no breakouts associated after using it. I also did not face any irritation or tingling sensation. So, it was a quite comfortable experience for me.
Overall, this is a must try for people who have dry skin. It can make oily skin even oilier. However, you can give it a shot. The mask is loaded with hydrating serum and your skin an instant softness and suppleness which you are sure to fall in love with. I loved my purchase.
