My Experience with Wet n Wild MegaSlicks Lip Gloss Wined and Dined:
Packaging: The lip gloss tube has a nice colour-coded packaging that corresponds to the lip gloss shade and helps to identify it easily. The tube comes packed in a cardboard wrapper that contains all the details about the product. The brand name and other details are mentioned on the body of the lip gloss in white fonts. The black cap has a screw type mechanism and closes properly in place. There are no chances of any unwanted leakage. The applicator is doe-foot shaped and the colour deposits evenly on the lips. The applicator is really soft and feels comfortable on the lips. The shade code is mentioned on the bottom of tube body. Overall, the packaging is travel-friendly and sturdy.

Shade: The shade “Wined and Dined” is a light berry colour that has a subtle glossy finish to it. This shade doesn’t look very dark, so it can be worn at any time of the day just to give a nice hint of colour to the lips. It is suitable for all skin tones. It is definitely not a long-wearing lip colour. You would be needing frequent touch-ups with this. Overall, the shade is pretty and I liked it.

Pigmentation: The pigmentation of this lip gloss goes very sheer. It doesn’t have a good colour payoff. Honestly speaking, when I bought this, I was not expecting a nice pigmentation. This one adds a nice colour to the lips which is not very pigment packed. And, that is the reason I bought it. It makes it highly wearable at any time of the day. The colour will not be able to conceal lip pigmentation, so it is not good for pigmented lips. It is very easy to layer the product to build the intensity but applying too much of it will make your lips feel sticky.

The gloss has a chemical kind of fragrance but it doesn’t bother me much since it dissipates away after sometime.
Texture and Finish: True to its description, this is a gloss, so it will have a glossy finish to it. It has a smooth texture that glides on the lips effortlessly for an even application. It does not cause any pulling or tugging during application. This lip gloss contains no shimmer particles in it. It provides the right amount of sheen and glow which looks perfect. The glossy finish that it provides is not overwhelming. The brand describing it as a ‘high-shine’ gloss is untrue. This product is a big relief to me because, I have super dry lips if not prepped. It hydrates and nourished my lips and gives it a healthy look. It never dries out my lips. It is ideal for winter because my lips are highly prone to being chapped due to the harsh weather.

The formula is very lightweight and does not cause any discomfort when I rub my lips. But with excess application of product, it will feel tacky. It does not highlight the harsh lines of my lips. But this gloss is not completely smudgeproof and transfer-proof. With slight contact also, it starts spreading. Obviously, that is how lip glosses are meant to behave.

This gloss can be worn alone for a healthy look or can also be paired with a matte lipstick for a glossy finish and to get a more intensified look. I have tried it in both ways and it works perfectly well in both the cases.
Staying Power: This lip gloss stays for a decent amount of time. It is surely not long-lasting. It can stay for about 3-4 hours without food or drinks. If you are having oily meals, then the formula breaks down from the center of your lips and gets removed completely. After that, you would need reapplication. After it fades away, it does not leave behind any stain. Removal of this gloss is super easy. Any normal makeup remover can remove it completely.
Overall: This is a pretty colour suitable for daily wear. If you are not a fan of bold lips but want to give them a subtle glow, then this could be your pick. The staying power is not very good but you cannot complain at this price point. Overall, I loved my purchase.
