My Experience with Sugar Gloss Boss 24hr Eyeliner 01 Back In Black:

Packaging: Sugar Eyeliner comes in the usual Sugar graphical paper box and the actual liner contains a small black tube with a long wand that is easy to hold. It is safe to carry around and is light weight as well. It has a very fine felt tip applicator brush that works very smoothly. I am totally impressed with its thin brush applicator. It is very easy to draw a sharp precise winged liner with it, and it takes only a few minutes to create a perfect line. This wand gives a perfect control on the application.

Shade: It comes with only one shade called “01 Back in Black”, and it is a beautiful dark black color. The shade is perfect to get the bold classy look and it’s a glossy black color that doesn’t have any shimmer or shiny particles in it. The shade is super pigmented that requires only single stroke for the perfect color payoff. It gives a beautiful bold intense color on eyes.

Texture and Quality: Liner has a liquid thin consistency and it glides easily on eyes without
tugging. The application process is so smooth and easy that I never face any problem in drawing a thick or a thin line with it. Due to its thin applicator, it can easily create a fine line and the consistency also is perfect for that. It also dries out quickly without any mess. I am impressed with its smooth formula that doesn’t feel patchy. It is quite easy to layer up as well but I have to do it quickly. Once it dries out it is a little difficult to correct. It feels very light on the eyes and never feels dry on lids also.

Now, it is glossy eyeliner, so it settles into a beautiful glossy texture and gives a gorgeous
smooth, flawless look. Though the trend is all about matte finish but I like such shiny finish that looks very subtle with a natural gloss. It claims to be a smudge-proof and transfer-
proof liner and obviously, during monsoon, we all want these qualities. So, it does
its job well and doesn’t transfer to lids and doesn’t smudge at all either. It never flakes or
peels off from eyes and stays perfectly in its place without any mess. Only if I splash water
and rub it off then the texture peels off slightly. Otherwise, it’s a nice water resistant eyeliner that stays without creating any mess. Hence, it is a long-lasting eye liner which never looks faded. Also, it never irritates my eyes.

Staying Power: The formula holds the color for long and stays for around 8-9 hours. It
claims to last 24 hours but I never kept it for that long. Hence, for me, it survives a whole
day, even on my oily lids. I have quite watery eyes but, surprisingly, it never moves
from corners either. It is also very easy to remove the liner.

Overall, it really is a high-performance eyeliner with super pigmented color quality and the formula is so amazing that I am obsessed with it. This glossy texture looks so gorgeous. I must say it is a great product at this super affordable price.
