Hi all,
I love buying loose eye shadow colors when I do not find a particular shade in a palette. I was looking for a sparkly blue shade which is very popular in recent times. I wanted to give this pigment a try. Read the detailed review here.

My Experience with Kryolan Satin Powder SP 769:
Packaging: The packaging of the satin powder is very similar to the glitter pots except for the fact that these come in cute, blue paper boxes. The shade and ingredient details are mentioned in the box. Also, the information is provided at the back of the plastic pot. These are grey plastic pots with a hole on the top and a transparent plastic cap. You can bring out the product through the hole in your palette or on the transparent cap and use it. The cap twists and closes perfectly and thus, it is super convenient for travels too. But please be careful while using it, as you may end up bringing out more product than needed.

Texture: The texture of this satin powder is indeed very satiny and smooth. It gets applied like a dream on the skin. One swipe of the product gives the perfect color and coverage. I generally prefer applying concealer on my eyes and powder it well before applying the shadow. It has amazing color payoff when applied with a sponge applicator. With the brushes, the color needs to be built up gradually. On the lid, I generally use a sponge applicator to get very good coverage. You can also wet the brush with a fixing spray to get great color intensity. I prefer setting it with Mac fixing spray and it stays on forever. You can easily mix this to another color from this range and both mixes beautifully to create new colors. You can use it on the lips or cheek to do unicorn inspired looks.

Shade: It is an amazing sparkly blue shade which looks very vibrant on everyone. It has no shimmer or glitter. But, the color itself is shiny. It is very velvety and satiny in texture. It has a duo chromatic effect making it perfect for dramatic eye looks. It is not the vibrant, bright blue that I wanted (my search is still on), but I love this one too.

Staying Power: This color stays on the eyes for long. As it is powdery, there can be some fallout initially during application. But once it is set on the eyes, it stays for long. Also, I do not see any creasing. It may not get removed completely with water. So, I generally use an oil-based remover to remove it in one swipe and in a hassle-free manner. Overall, I am pretty happy with the product. It is cost effective and the color is beautiful.
Pros of Kryolan Satin Powder SP 769:
- Travel-friendly packaging.
- Beautiful blue shade for party eye looks.
- Velvety, satin finish.
- Minor shimmer particles are present.
- Good coverage and color payoff.
- Stays on for long without creasing.
Cons of Kryolan Satin Powder SP 769:
- Loose powder can be a little problematic to apply initially and there can be fall outs.
- You may end up bringing out too much product.
IMBB Rating: 4/5
