Hello IMBBians,
I have pretty dry lips and using a lip scrub is very mandate to me. I have scrubs in a pot and recently came across this one from City Color Cosmetics that came in a tube and I decided to pick it up. Today’s review is all about City Color Sugar Lip Scrub. Read on to know more.

My Experience with City Color Sugar Lip Scrub:
The product comes in a sealed clear tube with black highlights and a black screw cap. There is some information on the back of the tube. The tube is similar to the old Vaseline tubes that we used to get. The cap closes very well and there is no chance of any opening. The tube is transparent and you can clearly see the contents of the tube. The nozzle is slanted and it helps in applying the scrub directly to the lips. The tube is perfect for travelling purposes too.

The scrub is brown in color and has a thick consistency. It feels like sugar and honey mixture. The consistency is just right and is perfect for application. It has a sweet fragrance and flavor to it. The application is pretty easy and all you have to do is to apply the scrub onto the lips and massage, leave it on for a minute or two and then wash it off. The scrub particles are not very harsh but they are granulated enough to provide a good exfoliation. The scrub removes all the dryness from the lips and it makes the lips free from dry flakes. The granules do not melt away immediately and you have time to work on it. The product is suitable for dry lips as it scrubs out the flakes from the skin. If you do not leave on the scrub for a while, you will notice that the exfoliation is not completed and you can feel the flakes on your lips.

The product eliminates dryness from the lips and also moisturizes the lips. My lips feel nourished and smooth after application. The lip scrub also makes my lips look pink and I love it. The moisturization stays on for around 4-5 hours which is pretty decent without a lip balm. The scrub can be used by both men and women because, it doesn’t impart any colour. The scrub is great and is very inexpensive but, I am not sure if I want to use it everyday as it is a little strong. I would definitely repurchase this one as it is one of the best ones that I have tried. So, summing up.
