My Experience with Marks and Spencer Formula Eye Makeup Remover Lotion Sensitive Skin:
The makeup remover comes in a sturdy, white plastic bottle with a flip open cap. It has a hole for dispensing the product, which is of apt size. The bottle is travel friendly and I have not seen any spillage once the cap is shut properly. Product details are written on the bottle. Overall, it’s a good packaging from Marks and Spencer.
The lotion is not runny or watery, and is of a good consistency. It doesn’t gush out of the hole and you can get the product out by a tiny bit of pressure. Initially, I applied the lotion directly on my face, rubbed it for a few seconds, and wiped with a cotton pad. While coconut oil can e used to remove makeup this way, this makeup remover caused stinging sensation when it got into my eyes. I formed negative opinions about the product, although it took down all makeup really well.
I tried using this on cotton pad and it works so much better. As the product doesn’t get into eyes, there is no stinging or redness. It takes of base makeup, lipstick and eyeliners effortlessly. A little more effort is needed in removing mascara and kohl on lower lash line, but it does a good job. I also remove liquid lipsticks, but they do take considerable efforts.
I like this makeup remover because it suits my sensitive skin and doesn’t leave any oily film on my face. I have acne-prone, oily and sensitive skin, and I can skip washing my face post makeup removal with this product. It doesn’t dry out skin either.
Overall, I like this makeup remover and feel this is a good product to use if you do it the right way (without letting the product get into your eyes).
