Hello everyone,
In this post, I will be reviewing L’Oreal Professionnel Paris Serie Expert Liss Unlimited Smoothing Cream. This smoothing leave-in cream is for unruly, coarse hair. It contains smoothing agents to provide a long lasting, anti-humidity shield which protects my hair and keeps it frizz free and smooth. Read on to know more.
Price:
$27 for 150 ml.
Product Description:
With the liss unlimited smoothing cream, you’ll experience a unique blow-drying treatment, leaving hair silky, smooth and protected; with a powerful anti frizz effect. Apply to shampooed, towel dried hair. Do not rinse.
Ingredients:
Enriched with Keratinoil complex technology. Pro-Keratin complex of amino acids and wheat protein mimic the hair’s natural keratin structure to instantly strengthen and protect hair. Improves and maintains hydration of the hair, strengthens its structure and leaves it soft and shiny. Kukui oil and evening primrose oil control frizz and smooth hair. Kukui nut oil is from Asia. This nut is pressed from the seeds of the aleurites moluccana tree, which oil contains Omega-6 and Omega-3, providing a reinforced protection against humidity.
My Experience with L’Oreal Professionnel Prokeratin Liss Unlimited Smoothing Cream:
It is packaged in a lilac-coloured, plastic tube with a flap open cap. The cap has a hole to dispense the cream. However, if by mistake, I happen to press too hard a lot of cream comes out, which results in unnecessary wastage. The packaging is definitely leak proof and travel friendly.
I have straight, thin and fine hair, which is chemically treated. I usually colour and highlight my hair at least once a month, due to which it becomes dry, frizzy, unruly and untamed. Secondly due to the water and weather conditions here, I sometimes get dandruff and also have hair fall issues. Along with the shampoo,; conditioner, and the oil, which I have already reviewed, I also purchased L’Oreal Serie Expert Smoothing Blow Dry Cream.
Usually, I wash my hair on weekends and let it dry naturally, but sometimes, I wash my hair on a weekday and when I am in a hurry, I use a blow dryer to dry my hair. This worsens the condition of my hair, making it dry and dull in the long run. Hence, I picked liss unlimited smoothing blow dry cream to use on such occasions. This cream does not feel sticky, it’s a white-coloured creamy formula.
It helps smoothen my hair, giving it a fabulous shine and silky texture. I have used this product at least four to five times and I am ready to review it. I take a tiny, pea-sized amount of this smoothening cream and rub it on on my palms and fingers and then run my fingers through the strands of my hair making sure all my strands are covered. However, the first time that I have used it on a weekend for a trial basis, by mistake, I wetn overboard with the amount of cream and 😆 lol, my hair looked like it was bathed in cream 😝.
Blow dry or no blow dry, I feel quite comfortable using this cream, it removes all the frizz from my hair, making it smooth, shiny and silky. It can be used directly on dry hair also. It helps smoothen and tame my unruly hair, remove the frizz, and also add a glossy shine to my dull hair. It helps protect my hair from heat, humidity, environmental and water pollution. Keeps them strong and healthy. When applied in right proportion, which is as less as possible gives, it does not make my hair appear creamy or flatten them out. Sometimes, when I blow dry my hair, I mix a drop of L’Oreal Liss Unlimited Blow Dry Oil ; with a tiny, pearl-sized drop of this cream and it gives a very good effect to my hair.
My hair feels soft, silky, and has a glossy shine, even after blow drying. This tip I picked up from a video on ‘How to Care of Coloured and Damaged Hair’ by Samruddhi Sathe, on Rati’s Beauty App. This cream definitely helps smoothen, protect and fortify my hair. I use it on and off once a week or along with the blow dry oil.

Yes, to both. However, this product is more advisable for thick, long, curly, unruly and coarse hair, rather than thin and straight hair like mine.
