In this post, I am going to review 3CE StyleNanda Super Slim Pen Eyeliner in the shade “Light Brown.” Read on to know how this eyeliner fared for me.

My Experience with 3CE StyleNanda Super Slim Pen Eyeliner Light Brown:

The eyeliner comes in a sleek pen form, which comes housed in a basic black-colored cardboard box. Product-related information is printed on the box. The eyeliner pen has a matte black colored body with a color-coded base. It bears some information on it in simple white fonts. The cap of the liner shuts very tightly making a click sound and prevents the eyeliner from drying. The applicator tip is thin and pointed. The applicator is quite soft and does not scratch the eyelids. It does not feel pokey on the skin and glides very smoothly. The applicator is firm enough to draw lines precisely and yet comfortable to work with. One can easily draw both thin and thick lines using this pen eyeliner. Overall, the packaging of the product is good.

The shade “Light Brown,” as the name suggests, is a soft, yellowish-brown kind of shade. The color is quite different from regular brown eyeliners. The shade is subtle and does not look too stark, but being a light color, it is flattering only for fair skin tones. Since, I had got this online, I was not really sure about the shade. It does not show up well even on medium fair skin tones. It did not turn up well even on complexion. It mixes with the color of my skin and is barely noticeable. It is suitable for fair complexions and is ideally suitable for them for everyday use. It will not suit Indian skin tones.

The formula is quite pigmented and the eyeliner gives a rich, opaque color in a single swipe. It does not feel watery or streaky. The finish is smooth and even. It is easy to layer two-three coats if you want the pigment to look more intense, so overall, the color is easily buildable.

Though, I am not a huge fan of pen eyeliners, I like using liquid eyeliners more, but pen eyeliner is the most preferable and best choice for beginners because of the ease of use. With a pen eyeliner, one has full control on the application. It glides easily on the eyes without any tug or pull. The tip is non-pokey and does not irritate the sensitive eye area. The application is quite smooth, easy and effortless. It gives a neat and soft matte kind of a finish. There is no sheen or shimmer in this liner. It hardly takes a few seconds to set properly. It does not crack or peel (which is otherwise common with most of the liquid liners). It does not have any creasing issue at all. It is smudge proof upto some extent, but fades away from the inner corner of my eyes. The formula is not waterproof and comes off easily with water.

The eyeliner stays for around 4-5 hours on my oily eyelids. It is quite easy to remove. Just a regular wet wipe is good enough to remove the eyeliner neatly. It does not leave any stain or residue behind. Overall, the quality of the eyeliner is just perfect but this shade is not meant for Indian skin tones.
