My Experience with Garnier Whole Blends Maple Remedy Restoring Shampoo:
The product comes in an orange translucent bottle with a brownish red cap. The bottle is very sleek and the design is same as the other shampoo bottles. The cap closes with a click and there are no chances of any leakage. There is a space between the cap and this makes it easier to open in the shower. The dispenser is a little big compared to the other bottles and I usually end up more than needed. The product is travel-friendly.
The first time I saw the bottle I thought that it is an opaque colored bottle. However, it was only later I realized that the shampoo inside has the melony orange shade and gives the color to the bottle. It is creamy and has a semi-thick consistency. It smells amazing very much similar to the mask I got from this range. There are three products in this range which include shampoo, conditioner and a mask. I picked the shampoo and mask.
The product is meant for very damaged hair. I have very dry ends and am prone to splits and thus I picked it up thinking that it would provide the necessary nutrients needed. The shampoo lathers very well. A little product does a lot of trick. This is due to the presence of SLS. The shampoo completely cleanses the hair and washes any oil applied. I was able to get the olive oil out with just a single wash. The shampoo even though cleanses very well, it doesn’t strip the oils from your hair. I have had a little dandruff lately and I see that it soothes the scalp and moisturizes it. I usually do not pick oil based shampoo as they make my oily scalp oilier. I picked this one up without knowing that it contains castor. But, out of all the oil based shampoos I have tried, this is the best. It doesn’t make my scalp oily and I can go on for 3 days with beautiful hair.
The product makes the hair very soft and smooth. It doesn’t help much in eliminating the frizz but managed the hair very well. There were hardly any tangles in my hair after I dried it. The shampoo also adds immense shine to the hair. The radiance went on for 3 Days which was pretty impressive. The shampoo adds moisture to the hair and makes it look very healthy. My fair stands were well moisturized and I could get away without using a conditioner. The presence of castor oil does a lot of tricks too. It does strengthen the hair and I noticed less hair in the drain but, it didn’t do much against the split ends or the brittleness of the hair. I guess this has to do with the diet. The product is free from parabens and is worth a try. If the shampoo and mask is used together, I noticed that it makes the hair a little oily but other than that, the shampoo is worth paying for. So, summing up
