My Experience with Dove Exfoliating Body Polish Crushed Macadamia and Rice Milk:
The Dove has a new exfoliating product which comes in round plastic box with a screw lid. Once opened, there is a plastic transparent cap underneath. There is a notch on this plastic cap which can be used to open the box further to access the product. I think this product has been slightly over packaged. The inner cover is not really required. It becomes a little bit of a hassle to handle so many lids and the product itself, especially standing wet in the shower. Anyways, one can live with it.
The scrub itself is very grainy to touch and also slightly creamy. It smells just amazing and sweet. It reminds me of the ice cream and makes me crave one. It smells delicious. The fragrance also lasts for an hour or more after use which I totally love.
The grains in the scrub are white and red in colour. I would describe the grains to be quite rough but one needs ti once in a while. Its not the mildest scrub out there. So, one has to go light handed while scrubbing. I have sensitive skin and hence I use it in moderation. One can use it up to 3 to 4 times a week, but I use it just once a week. The product also has moisturising cream in it and hence the skin feels not dry after scrubbing.
I normally use body wash first and then use the scrub and finally wash off with warm water. My skin feels extremely soft and all the dry flaky skin is completely removed. I have had no irritation or redness on my skin due to this product.
Overall, I love this product as it feels pampering to use. The fragrance makes it even more appealing to use.
