Hello everyone,
I recently picked up a lot of lip liners and lipsticks from Essence. A few colors from the range won my heart – there were n*des, reds and browns. I picked up all the reds and n*des. Today’s review is all about Essence Draw The Line! 07 Undress My Lips Instant Lip Color Lip Liner. Read on to know more about this lip liner.
Price and Quantity:
$2 for 0.25 gm.
Product Description:
These supple lip liners effortlessly glide over the lips to outline them. They are color-coordinated with the ultra-last instant color lipsticks so now there’s a matching lip liner to go with every shade. Thanks to the highly pigmented texture, you can trace any shape and irregular outlines are a thing of the past! With an integrated sharpener.
My Experience with Essence Draw The Line Instant Colour Lip Liner 07 Undress My Lips:
The lip liner comes in a retractable plastic case. It doesn’t need any sharpening, which is a plus point. The color of the case matches the color of the shade inside. This makes it easier to pick up from the collection. The black cap closes with a click which is pretty good. There are also lipsticks coordinated to match the lip liners from Essene. I picked up a few from that collection too. The case is very thin and this makes it easier to put them in purse or bags, comfortable for travelling. Overall, the packaging is great and is pretty sleek.
The lip liner is creamy, smooth, and well pigmented. The product glides very well without any issue. The lip liner is very soft and does not break if you apply a little pressure. It is very easy to apply to the corners of the lips too. There is no fragrance or so for the lip liner. The product doesn’t tag or pull the lips while application.
“Undress my Lips” is a n*de shade. It has a light pink mauve undertone and would complement any skin tone. It is very beautiful and gives me a natural look. The product has a matte finish and the pigmentation is amazing. With a single swipe, you can achieve a beautiful finish.
The lip liner must be applied to well exfoliated and moisturized lips. If not, it kind of accentuates the dryness and clings onto it.
The product doesn’t have any moisturizing property and this can make it a little bad if you have dry lips. However, it does cover pigmented lips. The product stays for around 5-6 hours, which is pretty good considering the price. It fades away unevenly, usually fades from the dryness in the middle. It doesn’t bleed or transfer, but with a little lip balm you can easily fix it. This would make the color last for longer and you can extend to almost 8-10 hours. Overall, I absolutely love the lip liner and it’s a must-buy if you are looking for affordable lip liners.
