Hey everyone,
Today I will be reviewing Makeup Revolution Pro Correcting Primer – Radiant Peach. Here’s how it fared.
Price: €7.99 for 30 ml
Product Description:
Balance your base with Revolution PRO Correcting Radiant Peach Primer. Lightweight and water-based, sheer apricot pigments colour correct to conceal the appearance of unwanted pigmentation, age spots, dark circles and melasma without ashiness. Apply all over the face (or just to problem areas) and blend out using the fingertips.
My Experience with Makeup Revolution Pro Correcting Primer Radiant Peach:
Packaging:
The packaging is minimal and efficient like most of the Makeup Revolution products. The tube is a beautiful peach colour with the name of the brand embossed on it. When you open the cap, there’s a narrow and tiny tube for dispensing the product, which is ideal for a primer. Overall, I would say it is travel-friendly but you should be a bit careful when dispensing the product because it comes out on its own if you hold it downwards and gentle press a little bit; press it hard and you will end up with an enormous amount of product.
First Impression:
The consistency of the product is a bit runny and the colour is the same as the tube. I took a little bit of the product and dabbed it on my eyelids and under eyes. I have a lot of pigmentation on my eyelid and my dark circles are very apparent on my skin tone. When you blend it out, you get this nice slightly peach sheen and I noticed that my pigmentation and dark circles were quite toned down. They weren’t completely gone but they were toned down without looking ashy. I layered this up with a concealer and set it with a powder.
Lasting Power:
Lasting power gets a big thumbs up from me, I have very oily eyelids and even after 9 hours, I do not observe any oil buildup. It’s incredible. I didn’t try it on the entire face because I don’t have a lot of pigmentation as such, I used it only on some problem areas.
The colour correcting effect was still solid after 9 hours. You definitely need to top it up with a concealer and set it with powder. If you have very dark circles, a little amount of orange concealer may be required. I recommend using it as a base for the eyes and the under eyes, and then layer it with a small amount of orange concealer. Pop your foundation on top and your dark circles should be gone without standing out as orange or peachy.
Pros of Makeup Revolution Pro Correcting Primer Radiant Peach:
• Lasting power is very good.
• Delivers on the promise of toning down the pigmented areas on your face and dark circles without looking ashy.
• Oil control is incredible especially on the eyelids, the skin doesn’t get very dry but stays matte for a good amount of time.
• Affordable and a good quantity
• Product will last for a long time.
• It gives a nice sheen to the skin without being too much dewy.
Cons of Makeup Revolution Pro Correcting Primer Radiant Peach:
• If you have very dark eye circles, you might need to use a bit of orange corrector as well to completely tone them down.
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
