Hi guys,
In this post, I will be reviewing a product from the famous “Green Tea” range of Innisfree. It has three lines in green tea – “Fresh,” “Balancing,” and “Moisture,” for oily, combination and dry skin respectively. This product is from the “Green Tea” seed range, which is the fourth line meant for special moisturizing and nourishing care. To know more about this product and how it fared for me, please read on further.
Product Description:
Antioxidant-infused cream made with Jeju green tea seeds for deep hydration and nourishment. A moisturizing and nourishing serum containing eco-friendly Jeju fresh green tea and green tea seeds More moisturizing and refreshing than ever before!
Price:
1750 INR for 50 ml.
Ingredients:
How To Use:
Put a small amount of cream into your hand and apply it around your face and neck.
My Experience with Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream:
The packaging is pretty cute. It comes in a dark green tub with a brown screw on lid. Of course, tub packaging is not the most hygienic and a spatula should have been provided at least. It has all important information printed on an English label with all the details. The outer cardboard box also contains all the details like price and ingredients.
The texture of this cream is very soft and gel-like, but it is quite thick I would say. It spreads quite easily over the skin and a little amount goes a long way.
Originally, I had intended to buy the Green Tea Moisture Cream, but the oily texture was bothering me. The texture of this one was much smoother and seemed to absorb better into my skin.
It smells fresh and nice, although that may be attributed to the addition of fragrance to the cream.
Coming to the application of this product, I use it after double cleansing and toning my face. I generally skip essence or serum as this does have serum in it. I also avoid using any sleeping packs over it.
I bought this cream as I wanted a night cream as the weather change is taking a toll on my skin. This cream has helped to prevent my skin from drying out or looking dull. However, I do believe that there are other creams in the market that provide similar effects. I would recommend this product if Innisfree’s Green Tea range suits you, or products containing green tea work for you for that matter.
Pros of Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream:
- Moisturizes and hydrates skin.
- Not oily.
- Spreads easily, only a little amount is needed.
- Smells amazing.
- Contains 100% green tea.
Cons of Innisfree The Green Tea Seed Cream:
- Tub packaging is not hygienic.
- Contains added fragrance.
IMBB Rating:
4.5/5
