My Experience with Catrice Kohl Kajal 140 Chocwaves:
The product comes in a sharpenable wooden pencil with a plastic cap. The cap closes tight without any issues. The product is sleek and is travel-friendly. You can easily put it in a purse and use it on the go. The color of the body is the shade of the pencil. The name is mentioned on the pencil and other minute details. The product comes unsealed. Since it is similar to a normal pencil, you can use the normal pencil sharpener. The pencil itself is very light and is easy to carry and I have no issues with the package.
As the name suggests, Chocwaves is a dark brown colored pencil. It is well pigmented and has a matte finish. When I swatched on the hand, I found the pencil to glide so easily and it transformed the color perfectly on to my skin. However, this is not the case when I use it on my eyes. It feels hard and it doesn’t glide well on the eyes and is not gentle at all. It also pulls and tugs the skin during application. The line is also not smooth and it breaks if you have light wrinkles on your eyes. The color imparted is also not that great. I need to glide on for 3-4 times to achieve the desired color that I have with one swatch on my hand.
As I sharpened the pencil, it seems to be better but this not the creamy kajal you assume it to be. The product doesn’t stay on waterline at all. It hardly remains for 20 minutes and completely fades away. However, it doesn’t cause any irritation. The product stays on for around 5 -6 hours without any issues and after which it tends to fade away gradually. The product is also easy to remove. The product doesn’t smudge over the lids till you rub it and this is good. I have been heating up the product before use for a creamier effect and this has helped a bit.
Overall, this is not the smoothest kohl in the market. I wouldn’t repurchase this as I find it not creamy enough.

Would I Recommend or Repurchase Catrice Kohl Kajal 140 Chocwaves?
This is not the creamiest kajal and I wouldn’t repurchase it as I didn’t find it a good purchase either! So, no to both!
