Hello IMBBians,
I recently purchased two daily use shampoos from Schwarzkopf. Today’s review is all about Schwarzkopf Repair and Care Shampoo. Read on to know more.
Price and Quantity: £ 1.49 for 400 ml
Product Description:
Repair & Care with Shea Butter & Coconut-Extract deeply repairs damaged hair. It brings back vitality to the dry hair.
Hair type: Damaged & dry hair
Smoothens and nourishes the hair structure.
Strengthens the hair by intensively caring down to the tips.
For visibly regenerated, supple & healthy hair full of shine.
My Experience with Schwarzkopf Repair and Care Shampoo:
The product comes in a light brown sleek plastic bottle with a dark brown cap. The flip cap closes with a click and there is no leakage. The product is very bulky for travelling and I wouldn’t recommend it. The product comes unsealed and there is information on the bottle. The opening is a bit bigger and you usually end up with a lot of extra shampoo.
The shampoo is white in color and creamy in consistency. It has a semi-thick texture. The shampoo smells amazing. I am a sucker for coconut based products and this one has the yummy coconut fragrance. However, the fragrance lasts for a short period of time.
The product lathers very well. A little product goes a long way. It thoroughly cleanses the hair and makes hair feel very fresh. It also removes oil – which is great. The shampoo also makes the hair manageable and removes small tangles. You can skip using a conditioner at times due to this amazing quality.
The product makes the hair very soft and smooth. It doesn’t dry out the hair; instead it infuses strands with moisture and makes them look healthy. The shampoo also adds a light shine to the hair. The product also makes my dry ends moisturized. This shampoo is meant for dry and damaged hair and it can do miracles. However, since it is very rich in shea butter and coconut, it does make hair greasy.
The shampoo makes the hair oily the very next day, which is a bummer. Due to this, the hair becomes limp and doesn’t feel good. If you have fine hair, the second-day hair is very bad. The product eliminates the frizz and also tames flyaways. The shampoo is free of silicones but contains SLS. Overall, it is not a shampoo for everyone and has to be used only for dry and damaged hair.
So summing up:
