Hi IMBBians,
I love dolled up face with extreme strobing and highlighting. Although, I do not wear highlighter to that extent, but I do admire some makeup gurus who wear dazzling highlighter and accentuate their cheek bones in a brilliant, albeit unnatural way. A highlighter can make or break our look and if worn the right way, it can add the healthy glow to our face and give a sculpted look.
Product Description:
You glow, girl! Perfectly coordinated shimmering trios in a beautiful pearl finish. The baked technology delivers high pearl and pigment payoff, and can be applied wet or dry. Each palette provides an instant bronze or a slight hint of color for a glowing complexion.

My Experience with Wet n Wild I’ll Have A Cosmo – To Reflect Shimmer Palette:
The product comes in a plastic packaging, with a clear lid. There is nothing extraordinary about the packaging except that it serves the purpose well and is not made up of some cheap, flimsy material, which breaks after some time. The product does not come with any brush as some products do and it is fine for me because, most of the time those brushes are of no use.
The highlighter comes in a pressed form and has a swirl of colors in it – rose gold, rose and champagne pink. These colors cannot be used individually, as it is evident from the images, but a blend of all can be picked up by a fan brush or a small contouring brush. In the swatch, the champagne pink color is what much visible and the pinks are almost muted.
As per the performance, I must say that it failed to impress me. I have certain expectations from a highlighter– it must be easy to transfer from it’s container to cheek bones with minimal fall out, it should be easy to blend, it must not move around too much and should not mess with the base makeup underneath and most of all, the glitter in the highlighter must stay put and should not transfer to other parts of the face. This highlighter failed on almost all of these aspects. First, it has considerable fall out and creates a mess when picked up with a brush. Second, it does not blend with the blush well and creases out separately. Third, the glitter goes all over the face and gets annoying. It ruins a perfectly done face and makes it look tacky with shimmer particles in the under eye area.
I would not recommend it to those who are pro at makeup techniques, but dilettante and nouveau makeup artist can give a try to this product and dabble with it before investing in something more better suited to their needs.
Pros of Wet n Wild I’ll Have A Cosmo – To Reflect Shimmer Palette:
- The packaging is very sturdy and strong and it does not break that easily.
- Comes in a good size pan.
- It has no fragrance.
- Wet n Wild is a cruelty-free makeup brand.
- The color is champagne pink which looks pretty on most of the skin tones.
- It is affordable.
- Comes in three different shades.
Cons of Wet n Wild I’ll Have A Cosmo – To Reflect Shimmer Palette:
- The shimmer particles go all over the face and ruin the look.
- It has a lot of fall out and is very hard to blend.
- It ruins the base makeup while blending.
IMBB Rating: 2/5
Do I Recommend Wet n Wild I’ll Have A Cosmo – To Reflect Shimmer Palette?
No. It is a beautiful color highlighter and the shade will look pretty on most of the skin tones. Unfortunately, it is hard to blend and the glitter in it transfer to other parts of face as well. It might work over a liquid highlighter, but again it is not a very viable option and might not work for most of us.
