My Experience with Kleancolor 6 Color Designer Matte Eyeshadow Kiss and Tell:
This palette comes in what I feel like is a butterfly wing. The packaging looks similar to it, right? It has a clear lid so you can see the shades inside. It has 6 eyeshadows placed. I like that the pans are big enough for your brush to pick up the product.
It doesn’t come with a mirror but has a little dual-sided sponge tip applicator. The back of the palette has all the information about the product. The lid shuts with a nice audible click. It is slightly difficult to open this palette especially if you have short nails. The size is compact and travel-friendly.
When I swatched the contour palette, I was surprised to see how smooth, pigmented and soft the shadows were. But in this case, the shadows are rough, chalky and lack pigmentation. The colours look so promising in the pan, but they don’t transfer the same way on the eyes or even when swatched.
The reason I picked up this palette was its colour selection. The colours look gorgeous and can be worn on basically everything. They all are matte shades and they look so easy to use. But the palette is a big disappointment.
Let’s look at the shades individually:
The first shade in this palette is a chocolate brown shade. It is a warm brown shade. This is the only shade that goes on smoothly as compared to the rest of them.
Next, is a baby pink shade which is chalky and has a ton of kickback.
Next up is a stark white shade. It is well pigmented but it is very powdery.
The other brown in this palette is a completely different toned brown. It is a brick brown shade, kind of kind burnt orange but with more hints of brown. Such a beautiful shade, but I had to scrape up the shadow to get some pigment.
The fifth shade is a beautiful mauve-pink shade. Again, it is very crumbly and powdery!
The last shade in this palette is a salmon shade. It looked very promising but, again, it is very chalky and patchy.
