Today, I will be reviewing the Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream. I have used a couple of products from the “Orchid” line, including the eye cream and enriched cream. Both are very effective anti-ageing all-rounder skincare products for anyone just delving into anti-ageing skincare.

Product Description:

Ingredients:
Just like the other products, the main ingredient is cold-growing orchid, which has anti-ageing and total care properties.

How To Use:
Tonify skin after cleansing and release an appropriate amount to smooth and massage over skin. 2. After massaging, gently wipe off with a tissue or hot towel or rinse with lukewarm water.

My Experience with Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream:

The tub is housed in a white and purple cardboard box, which has information printed on it with soy ink. The box also has additional information about the Jeju cold-growing orchid in Korea. It also has English labels. The packaging of the “Orchid” line is beautiful. The massage cream comes in a pretty, lilac-coloured tub with a matte dark violet coloured screw on cap. It also has a purple orchid embossed on it. Overall, the packaging is very cute and chic. It is slightly bigger than the orchid enriched cream tub. Unfortunately, like the other products, this does not come with a spatula of its own.

The color of the cream has a peachy hint, it is not completely white or off white. The cream is quite thick, which is appropriate for a massage cream. It is thicker than the enriched cream, but spreads on the face just as easily. It has a mildly strong floral fragrance that fades after a few minutes of application.

I have never tried a massage cream, and I figured what better brand to try than Innisfree. I am already a fan of the Orchid Enriched Cream and Orchid Eye Cream. I wanted to try a new type of product that was different than creams and lotions.

Coming to the application of this product, I prefer using this at night. I first apply a toner generously so that my face is not completely dry before using the massage cream. I wait for a couple of minutes before moving onto the cream. The massage cream is quite thick, but does not tug at the skin. I first apply it in dots on my face, and then slowly massage the skin.

After waiting a couple of minutes, I wash it off. My skin is instantly more plump, moisturized, hydrated and smooth. I follow up with my serum and night cream. The effects last for a few days. Over time, my skin has become more radiant and soft. I definitely think this is a good massage cream.

Pros of Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream:

• Has a moisturizing, hydrating and plumping effect.
• Has a positive impact on the skin over time.

Cons of Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream:

• Expensive.
• Contains fragrance.
• Tub-packaging is not hygienic.
• Spatula is not provided.
• No visible brightening effect.

Would I Repurchase/Recommend Innisfree Orchid Massage Cream?
I like this massage cream, though I cannot say much about it as this is the first massage cream that I have tried and hence can’t compare it to any other similar product. It does have the effects of a good massage cream. I will probably try other massage creams after this one gets over.
