Hi all,
ELF cosmetics create some really cheap and good quality brushes. I saw this silicone smudge brush online and it looked pretty interesting. Silicone blending tools are becoming quite popular these days and many companies are creating silicone sponges and tools. I asked a college senior to get it from US while she was visiting India. Read the review to know more about this unique product.

Product Description:
The flexible silicone head smudges pencil eyeliner with precision. The small domed shape mimics the feel of a finger, which also makes it ideal for targeted glitter application. The silicone material does not absorb product and can be easily wiped clean.
My Experience with ELF Cosmetics Silicone Smudge Brush:
The brush comes in a clear plastic bag with the details written on a paper which is inserted in the bag. You can keep the brush in it, but I prefer keeping all my brushes together in a brush holder.
The brush has a black, slim body. The lower portion is matte black, while the upper part is a little metallic. The length and thickness of the brush is perfect and convenient for use. The tip has no bristles but a silicone bulb kind of structure, which actually helps in the smudging. It is white in color and feels a little rubbery.
You can smudge gel liners or kajals easily with the product. It takes some time, but it mimics the feel of your finger with some precision. However, you need to give it some time and effort to get the perfect smudged look. If you try to smudge gel products too hard, it may feel extremely rubbery. I think it works much better with powder based products. The blending is smoother and gentle for powder products. You can also apply glitters precisely with the brush.
The washing is very convenient. You can rub the residue glitter and eye shadow with a tissue and it is ready for next use. You can use the same brush multiple times while creating a look. You can carry this in your kit while traveling and skip taking multiple brushes for eye makeup look.
Overall, this is a new kind of product to me. I won’t say this is a must-have. But if you love trying new products, you might give this a try.
