Reliving Sabena and Aamir’s big fat fusion Indian bash has me a bit sad to see all the events come to an end. One last stop in this Maharani’s love journey has us back at the ballroom at the Catamaran Resort & Spa. The spacious quarters were transformed to be fit for a Maharani. The bride most certainly looked the part by exchanging her white wedding sari for an elegant, gold sari. Rami Haddad and Soud Hreish designed the most perfect cat eye makeup look that played up the bride’s natural beauty. Hair was left in soft waves that flowed effortlessly of the bride’s back. The venue was jazzed up one last time in batches of purple glow, glittery pink drapes and large bouquets of fresh, colorful flowers. We are elated to find that Dove Weddings has shot the cinematic version of this wedding and are awaiting patently for the film so we can share it with all of you! Our hats go off to wedding planners. We know how hard it is planning a wedding, but a multicultural Indian wedding is a different ballgame. Nahid Global always manages to blow us away with their expertise, design and creative touches.
