Hi all,
I love styling my hair since I have very frizzy hair. I use curler, straightener and blow dryers to style my hair. This causes a lot of breakage and dryness in my hair. So, I always make it a point to use heat protectant spray. Today, I will be reviewing Tresemme Thermal creations Heat Tamer Spray. So, let’s see how this heat protectant spray fared for me.
Price:
$5.49 USD for 8 fl. oz.
Product Description:
Did you know heat appliances reach up to 450°F? Some serious damage potential! The TRESemmé Thermal Recovery system was designed to help protect hair against damage from heat appliances like blow dryers and styling tools. Ideal for those who style often, this advanced system helps restore vibrancy and shine to dried-out, damaged hair. Formulated with a moisture-locking vitamin complex, TRESemmé Thermal Creations Protective Heat Tamer Spray stands up to flat irons and curling irons by guarding against heat and friction, leaving hair shiny and enviably soft.
How To Use:
Prep your hair with Tresemme Thermal Recovery Shampoo and Conditioner. Spray liberally 6-8 inches away from mid-shaft to ends on both damp hair before you blow-dry and on dry hair before curling or flat ironing. Style your hair as usual and finish off with Tresemme Tres Two Hair Spray.
Ingredients:
Water (Aqua), Glycerin, Amodimethicone, Peg-12 Dimethicone, Propylene Glycol, PVP, Fragrance (Parfum), Polysorbate 20, Cetrimonium Chloride, DMDM Hydantoin, Benzophenone-4, Triethanolamine, Disodium EDTA, Hydrolyzed Silk, Ascorbic Acid. Tocopheryl Acetate, Panthenol, Biotin, Niacinamide.
My Experience with Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Leave in Spray:
Tresemme Thermal Creations Heat Tamer Spray comes in a sturdy black plastic bottle with a red nozzle spray. The nozzle spray has a trigger lock system. The nozzle spray has a lock and unlock button. Whenever you want to use the spray, you press the unlock button and spray on the heat protectant. You can then lock the nozzle by pressing the lock button. This packaging makes the spray nozzle resistant to unwanted spillage. Overall, the packaging is lightweight, sturdy and travel friendly.
The texture of the spray is watery and while spraying the heat protectant spray, your hair does get wet; however, it is not greasy. The heat protectant spray has a very floral fresh fragrance. I directly spray the hair protectant spray 6 to 7 inches away from my hair. I need 4 to 5 sprays to cover my medium length hair. After spraying, I wait for the spray to dry and then use my styling tool (straightener for example).
This hair spray does protect my hair from the heat. It gives a beautiful shine to my dry and dull hair. I have seen significant difference in my hair. I find less hair breakage and the frizziness in my hair has reduced. Overall, I really like Tresemme thermal creation heat tamer spray.
