I have sparse eyebrows at the starting and I personally feel like they need a little definition. I have always preferred my Anastasia Brow Wiz to do my brows but I also don’t mind trying new ones. I have used Marc Jacobs eyebrow pencil too, but it did not even come close to Anastasia Brow Wiz. I recently picked up Urban Decay Brow Beater, find out whether it matches or comes even close to the Anastasia one

Product Description:
A long-lasting, waterproof brow pencil with a microfine tip for precise application.
Brow Beater Microfine Brow Pencil and Brush is the perfect weapon for a brow emergency (even when you’re on the go). Urban Decay’s long-lasting, waterproof formula is infused with moisturizing vitamin E, argan oil, and coconut oil, and it delivers a smooth, even application. Its precise, microfine tip makes it easy to replicate the natural look of real hair.
This brow pencil’s unique texture provides the ideal laydown of color that lasts all day. With a versatile shade range and double-ended, slim barrel, it makes it easy to fill out brows. Use this mechanical, retractable pencil to fill in and shape brows, and then groom and blend with the spoolie brush.
My Experience with Urban Decay Brow Beater Microfine Brow Pencil and Brush Warm Brown:
Like most of the brow pencils out there, Urban Decay Brow Beater comes in a retractable pencil form which has a spoolie on one end and the actual brow product on the other end. The tube is a metallic purple tube with product name and brand name printed on it.
I feel this brown pencil has received less hype than it deserves. I love Anastasia brow wiz (I have mentioned this so many times already), and have tried a few more brow pencils, but didn’t like any of those, but then, I like this one by Urban Decay.
This brow beater adds definition and brows look natural. It is not hard to work with and needs tiny strokes to make it work. I don’t need too much definition because I have thick black brows, but at the point where my brows start, it’s a little scant, and that’s where I use this pencil.
The shade that I picked up for myself is “Warm Brown,” which I think is a good match for me. I use to give my brows a soft and slightly gradient natural look. I generally run spoolie through the brow hair to add definition to my brows and then run the pencil slightly through the areas that I need some more definition. The product is quite smooth and doesn’t feel harsh against the skin and doesn’t need effort to put in unlike the Marc Jacobs one. It’s not too smooth but it’s smooth than the marc jacobs pencil. I like the fact it’s long lasting. I also get full day wear out of it. Overall, I like that it looks very natural and is smooth and not harsh against the skin.
