My Experience with The Face Shop Softening Foaming Cleanser – Apeach:

The Face Shop Softening Foaming Cleanser comes in a white coloured squeeze tube with the kakao friends character “Apeach” printed on it along with the product name. The cute cartoon character looks cute. The back of the tube bears the product-related information. The product details are printed both in Korean and English. The tube has a regular white coloured flip top cap that shuts tightly making an audible click sound. Overall, the packaging is cute and travel-friendly.

The foaming cleanser has a mild floral fragrance, which is non-bothering. The smell does not linger for too long and fades away gradually. The foaming cleanser looks pearly white in colour. The consistency of the cleansing foam is quite thick and creamy. It lathers well and I need only a pea-sized amount to cleanse my face properly. It creates a lot of foam and cleanses the skin gently. The facial cleanser is easy to wash off; it doesn’t leave any residue behind. It has good cleansing properties still, I am not very much impressed with the quality of the product. It didn’t cause any breakouts on my sensitive skin but, I didn’t get that squeaky-clean feeling after using it.

This cleanser is not very effective in cleansing the dirt and impurities. I use my toner to clean all the dirt and grime left by this face wash. The product claims to give some softening effect to the skin but, I did not feel any such difference in my texture after using it. Also, after using this facial cleanser for a couple of weeks, I observed a disastrous darkening of my skin. I have never faced any such issues earlier. So, this was quite a horrible experience. I stopped using this cleanser after which my skin came back to its original state. Overall, this product is a big disappointment.

Cons of The Face Shop Softening Foaming Cleanser – Apeach:

• Does not cleanse the skin thoroughly.
• Not capable of removing dirt and impurities.
• Dries out the skin.
• Makes my skin darker.
• Does not give that squeaky-clean feeling to my face.
• Does not really soften the skin.
