Hello all,
Today’s review will be on a creamy lip stain/liquid lipstick. I love liquid lipsticks and I picked a few from City Color. I like how each one is named after a drink. I will be reviewing “Cherry Daiquiri” in this post, let’s see how it fared for me!

Product Description:
With true opaque color, City Color Creamy Lips is a lip paint that just won’t quit! A little goes a long way with this ultra pigmented formula – only a light touch is needed for full coverage with only one layer. Sets to a lightweight, semi-matte finish that doesn’t dry out and keeps your lips natural moisture preserved. Available in 12 sweet and sultry shades. Pro-tip: Wipe excess product off wand before applying to ensure the best application and staying power.
My Experience with City Color Cherry Daiquiri Creamy Lips:
This lip stain comes in a curvy plastic tube. The tube is short and stout and looks pretty cute. The tube is colour coded so it is very easy to pick the shade you are looking for. The wand is a doe foot applicator that is very convenient to use. The applicator applies the product evenly. The tube doesn’t leak and can be tossed into your handbag. The applicator picks up good amount of the lip cream.
“Cherry Daiquiri” is your orange-y red shade. It is a very bright color and looks good on many different skin tones. I picked up 3 shades from the “pink” color family and 3 from the “red” color family. This one is the lighter shade of the three reds that I picked from City Color. It is a very summery shade and adds a nice pop of colour to the lips.
The pigmentation on this one is good and you can build it up. I usually layer on 2 coats and that’s what I think is enough. The formula is very creamy and mousse like. It is a soft mousse-y form of a lipstick and feels very comfortable on the lips and doesn’t dry out my lips. The product is thick and smooth. It makes your lips look really nice but the formula doesn’t completely dry out. Hence it makes the lip stain very comfortable. It still gives a semi matte finish though.
The lip stain is very lightweight and even if you layer on a couple of times, you don’t feel the heaviness of the stain. It does transfer though. The staying power is around 3-4 hours with eating and drinking. It does transfer a lot and is quite messy when you are eating/drinking something. Otherwise, I really like this product.
The product has a rosy scent to it which doesn’t bother me. It is mild and noticeable only when you sniff closely or when you are applying the product. It fades away quickly though.

Yes, it is a good product and I really like it. I won’t repurchase though because I already have 6 shades. But since it is very comfortable on the lips, I’ll recommend for you to buy!
