Bruh, Zara’s Best Sellers Are So On-Trend This Fall
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t leaning into fall and winter 2020’s trends hard, but honestly, you’re a fool if you aren’t. Padded shoulder tees? Leather blazers? Boots with chains? Everything feels so fresh and cool, and lucky for me, Zara’s Best Sellers make trend-setting (and shopping) easy.
Sometimes, I tend to shy away from items toted as “best-selling.” Why would I want to risk walking into a party at which five other girls are in the same Zara miniskirt? Yes, it’s happened to me, and yes, it was hella awkward, although we did make light of it on Instagram to mask our shared embarrassment. Still, I tend to seek out styles no one else is wearing yet for a more unique look, which is why the Best Sellers section isn’t one I’m likely to browse.
This season, though, I literally can’t resist. Zara is positively nailing all the biggest trends, from luxe-looking faux leather to stylish outerwear and more. I’m balling on a budget, so when I’m not yet sure if a trend will stand the test of time, getting to shop it at Zara before splurging elsewhere always feels like a safe move. Will I be into these slouchy knee-high boots next winter? Is this leather blazer really a “forever piece” in my wardrobe? I can’t say for sure just yet, so shopping trendy styles at Zara is a great way to avoid investing in an item that’s at risk of being worn just a few times.
With that, I’ve looked through Zara’s entire Best Sellers section and pulled out 10 top trends to try this season. If you like what you see, don’t hesitate to buy—as you might’ve guessed, best-sellers tend to sell all the way out, so shop the below and get ahead of the trends before they’re gone.

1. This Leather Blazer
Perhaps the biggest outerwear trend of the moment is the leather blazer, and this Faux Leather Oversized Blazer couldn’t be cooler. I’m partial to this taupe shade, described by Zara as “pale pink” (?), but it also comes in black if you prefer a more classic colorway.
2. A Padded-Shoulder Tee
Padded tees are blowing up this season, and Zara’s Shoulder Pad Shirt is a great way to try the look. I love the Dark Mink color above, but it also comes in four other colorways.
3. Faux Leather Joggers
If you’ve been living in actual sweats for the last few months, keep the silhouette but upgrade the material via these Faux Leather Jogging Pants. A black leather-look pant is better for night, but this ecru color paired with a chunky knit is perfect for brunch.
4. This Ruched Mini Dress
This Ruched Ribbed Dress is basically a dressed-up tee, and I couldn’t be more excited to style it. As the weather gets colder, don’t be afraid to rock it with some tights for an extra layer of warmth.
5. Some Boots with Chains
Jewelry-like details are a huge trend for footwear right now, and these Chain Trim Heeled Ankle Boots positively nail it. Plus, who doesn’t love a gorgeous fall and winter boot for under $100?
6. The Perfect Shirtdress
Everyone needs a Belted Shirtdress in their cold-weather wardrobe to pair with knee-high boots and chic outwear for a fashion-forward feel. This maroon pick is especially gorgeous thanks to the button details and sash-style belt.
7. This Cozy Knit
Everyone needs the perfect sweater for their fall and winter wardrobe, and this Mock Neck Knit Sweater could be the one. I’m a sucker for a good creamy colorway, but this one also comes in a light blue.
8. Leather Leggings, Natch
These Faux Leather Leggings are a great bottom to pair with simpler outfits, from chunky fall knits to oversized band tees. Pair them with Dr. Martens or chunky kicks and you’re good to go.
9. Some Slouchy Boots
A slouchy knee-high boot is to 2020 what a black suede over-the-knee boot was to 2019. Snatch up these Stiletto Heel High Shaft Leather Boots now before they (inevitably) sell out.
10. A Shearling Jacket
This Double-Faced Jacket is an absolute fall essential, from the faux suede body to the shearling cuffs, collar and trim. The silver hardware makes it especially edgy.
