THE REAL WOMAN IS NOT RUNNING AFTER HAPPINESS

In our modern world, there are many stereotypical roles for a woman that have become popular: “businesswoman”, “female vamp”, “alfa woman”, “blonde”. Meanwhile, each lady is unique in nature and does not fit into just one template.

Let’s look at some amazing qualities of real ladies that might inspire us all:

1. She does not run after happiness

Real lady is not chasing happiness, in fact, she is not chasing anything at all. Running after happiness is the most popular and most unintelligent endeavour. We all run somewhere. Towards a brighter future, tomorrow, next year, etc. A real woman does not engage in this kind of “sport”. She flies through life on the wings of happiness and inspiration, always being in the present moment.

2. The present moment is the most interesting and most important thing that captures her attention

Of course, she has plans for the future, but real lady does not put off her life for tomorrow. She does not expect her real life to begin when she finally loses weight, when the prince charming finally comes in, or when the circumstances are just right, etc., she simply lives in the here and now.

3. She lives her life at her own pace

When you move too slowly, you don’t have the feeling of the vibrancy of life. When you live too fast, you do not have time to feel alive. Everyone of us has its own pace of existence. A real woman knows and feels it very well and lives in accordance with it. She never tries to fit into someone else’s schedule, she knows that everything good comes in the right time.

4. She understands that being a real woman is a wonderful privilege and blessing

A real lady can appreciate the fact that she was born a woman, and sees this as very valuable thing. She doesn’t just know that she is a woman, she feels and loves it at every level of her being. For her, to be a real woman is not a test, not hard work and not a cross that should be carried all her life. It is a gift and a blessing of life. A real woman cultivates her femininity at all levels: internal (sensations, feelings, thoughts) and external (body, clothes, behaviour).

5. She has healthy self esteem

And this does not mean that she is selfish, arrogant or cynical. A real woman likes herself in a healthy way and she knows that she is worthy to be treated like a princess or queen. She also really velues her personal space. But at the same time, she is also able of supporting, helping and participating in the lives of other people.

She also never says yes if her heart says no. And she always listens to herself and trusts her feelings.

6. She doesn’t depend on approval of other people

A real lady learned how to stop trying to please other people, she doesn’t strive to gain approval. She doesn’t live by the principle of “I must” or “I should not.” Real lady often asks herself what she really wants. She has no need to please other people in order to gain praise. This doesn’t mean that she doesn’t care how she is evaluated. It’s just that she doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone.

She also learned to accept her flaws and learn from life’s lessons.

7. She is happy in her own company

A real woman appreciates and loves her periods of loneliness, if any. She does not seek to draw casual acquaintances or men into her life, just to not be left alone with herself. Being alone with yourself is good. The best time to recover is to fill your life with calm and depth. A real woman is interesting for herself and enjoys being alone in her own company with pleasure.

8. She never thinks that life is hard

Looking at her, you cannot say that she survives: she has time and balance to be able to accomplish everything she wants, she grows as a person, has hobbies and has time to look after her husband and children. You will never think that she is exhausted or tired. Even when she has really a lot of things to do, a real woman takes the time to rest and look good.
She will not pretend to be a victim, because she knows that circumstances are not good or bad in themselves, but her attitude is everything.

9. She can use time wisely

A real woman lives in her present moment, she enjoys her real age, taking full advantage of it. She does not tell herself stories that at this age something is “too late” or “too early”. This philosophy is an excuse for those who use years to cover up their fears.

A real woman can do anything at any age. And therefore, she never has any regrets in life. A real woman knows: at every age there is a beauty and charm.

10. She knows how to gain wisdom

There is a big difference between being smart and being wise. A real woman knows about the importance of gaining wisdom and she takes time for self growth and self development. She knows the famous Biblical saying: “A wise woman builds her home, but a foolish woman tears it down with her own hands.” (Proverbs 14:1)
