My Experience with NYX Professional Makeup Bright Idea Illuminating Stick Maui Suntan:

Starting with the packaging of the product, the illuminating stick comes in a big retractable chubby stick form. The crayon has a color-coded cap. The stick bears some necessary product-related information printed on it. The cap fits tightly and makes the crayon travel-friendly. The crayon has a twist-up mechanism that works pretty fine. Overall, the packaging is good and travel-friendly.

The shade “Maui Suntan” is a beautiful orange-brown kind of shade, which is apt for medium to dusky skin tones. I use this shade only when I want to achieve a nice glowy tanned look. It gives that beautiful luminous glow. It has a subtle sheen in it which looks very pretty once blended in properly. It is amazing in terms of pigmentation. One swipe is good enough to get good color intensity, so you have to go light-handed to avoid being overboard with the product. I prefer applying it on the back of my hand and use a fine duo fiber brush to pick up the product and apply on the face. I apply it this way because applying directly from the stick moves my foundation and also I end up applying too much of the product sometimes. So, it is always good to apply on the back of the hand.

The texture is nice, smooth and kind of creamy. The formula is crème to powder-like. I love the formula as it does not make my skin oily. So, this makes these sticks suitable for all skin types. It glides smoothly on the skin. It does not cling to dry patches of the skin. It does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin. It does not break me out. The longevity is somewhere around 4 hours. You might need touch-ups after that. It is very easy to remove using micellar water or any makeup remover.
