My Experience with Herbal Essences Bio Renew Lightweight Shine Cucumber and Green Tea Shampoo:
I usually prefer normal-sized products, but this time, I was super excited to try this brand, so I picked a big sized bottle. This shampoo comes in a 400ml semi clear green plastic bottle with a flip flop cap. This is quite bulky to carry around.
Now, this shampoo is made from green tea and cucumber extracts though there are some chemical ingredients too. It is a paraben, silicone, a gluten-free shampoo. Due to the presence of green tea and cucumber, it has a fresh fragrance which lasts for long on the hair. It can reduce the odor of sweat by keeping hair fresh.
As my regular shampoo, I prefer gentle products that will maintain a good balance. This shampoo has a medium, clear gel-like consistency that glides over the scalp and hair smoothly and lathers well. It has a lightweight and gentle formula which instantly soothes the scalp and is easy to cleanse as well. The formula deeply cleans the scalp and removes dirt and impurities. It can clear out the excess oil, sweat from hair without making hair dry. During summer, like our face, our hair too requires deep cleansing, and this shampoo effectively works to purify scalp too. I was facing some itchiness and irritation on the scalp, but this shampoo has taken care of that and keeps my hair fresh for long. It helps to keep my hair bouncy and voluminous without weighing down the hair. The volume lasts for the next day as well.
Apart from cleaning, the shampoo delivers a good amount of hydration to hair, which leaves hair soft, smooth and healthy. It adds a nice shine and keeps hair beautifully smooth. I have naturally straight and smooth hair so, for me, it works really nice to maintain the look, and the hydration repairs the basic damage and dryness as well. If you have extremely dry hair, then it might not enough for you, but for daily uses, it is a nice shampoo. It also can control frizz and keeps hair manageable but for the long-lasting effect, it also requires a conditioner.
