My Experience with Kaya Derma Naturals Original Care Lip Balm:

Let’s begin the review with the packaging of the product. The lip balm comes in a white colored cardboard packaging with some necessary product related information on it. The lip balm tube is white in color. It has a label wrapped around it which bears the brand’s tagline along with the variant details. The tube is simple. It has a regular twist-up mechanism but it does not work as smooth as other lip balm tubes. The tube is small and easy to accommodate. Overall, the packaging is basic and could have been better.

This is an original classic variant. The lip balm bullet is off white in color. This is a basic clear lip balm, which does not impart any color but just adds a subtle sheen to the lips. It is not capable of covering pigmented lips. The fragrance is very mild and barely bothersome. I like using clear lip balms underneath my lipsticks as they don’t interfere with the color of my lipsticks.

The texture of the lip balm is nice. It is very smooth and creamy. Hence, it glides effortlessly on the lips without any dragging. There is no grittiness in the texture of the lip balm and it feels really buttery smooth upon gliding. It is non-sticky and feels comfortable on the lips. The formula is lightweight and it does not feel waxy or heavy on the lips. Though I can feel the presence of this lip balm, it does not feel like sitting on my lips. The lip balm comes with SPF 15, which makes it fit for using outdoors. The lip balm provides good moisturization to my lips and keeps them hydrated for around 4-5 hours. After that, I have to reapply it to ensure proper hydration and moisturization. It takes time to heal dry and chapped lips.
