I recently picked up 4 Matte Lip Pigments from the newly launched Pro range from Revolution. Today’s review is all about the Makeup Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigment in the shade “Inconspicuous”. Read on to know more.

My Experience with Makeup Revolution Pro Supreme Matte Lip Pigment Inconspicuous:

The product comes in a sealed package. The product comes in a black case with a transparent block in the center which shows the shade of the lip pigment. There is absolutely no information you can find on the case except the Pro name on top of the cap and a sticker denoting the shade. Other than that there is no information on it. It is really a bit weird! But, the package is really good. The design is very similar to Nars Power matte Lip Pigment The cap has a screw cap and it closes with a click. The applicator is doe-shaped and picks up the shade well. It is very soft for application. It can be a little difficult to apply to the corners of the lips to get that sharp effect. However, you can easily tilt the applicator and use it.

“Inconspicuous” is a beautiful orange red shade. It is pretty bold and offers amazing pigment. The shade is opaque and it offers a matte finish. The formula is velvet-like and is really smooth. It glides on easily without any issues. I absolutely love the formula. With just one swipe you get an amazing finish. I absolutely love the pigmentation. I have used very less lip products that offer this kind of finish.

When you apply the product, it creates a glossy kind of look but it settles to a matte finish within 10-15 minutes. After the application, it feels a little sticky but within a few minutes it fades away. The product is very light weight on the lips and you can hardly feel it. Since it is a matte product you need to use it on well exfoliated and moisturized lips. However, I have noticed that it doesn’t dry or settle into the creases of the lips which is very great because, I have very dry lips and using a matte shade for me needs a lot of prepping and in this I do not have to worry about.

The longevity of the product is amazing. It lasts for more than 7 hours on lips and after which I feel dryness on the lips and I usually take it off to moisturize my lips. The product isn’t drying and this makes it great for people like me who deal with dry lips. The product is waterproof, transfer-proof and kiss-proof. The product is a little difficult to remove with a water based product and you need to use a lip color remover which is cream or oil based for it. The product contains silicones which is the only drawback I found. Overall, I absolutely love the Lip pigments and I am sure I am going to be buying more of these! So, summing up.
