Hello IMBBians,
You need TLC even if you visit salon often. There are several face masks available in the market today. I like Dr Organic products because, they use organic ingredients. Today’s review is all about Dr Organic Virgin Olive Oil Face Mask. Read on to know more.
Price and Quantity:
$10.50 for 125 ml
Product Description:
Bioactive Organic Virgin Olive Oil is a super hydrating fruit oil rich in Oleic acid. We combine this organic virgin oil with a proprietary blend of bioactive, natural and organic ingredients including mineral rich Kaolin (China Clay). This nutrient rich clay based formulation draws oil from the pores while ridding the skins surface of dead cells and impurities and supporting the circulation deep into the capillaries to leave the skin feeling toned and perfectly hydrated.
Directions:
Use twice weekly as part of your cleansing regime. Apply the face mask evenly over whole face avoiding eyes and lips. Relax for 10 minutes and allow to dry, then remove with warm water or a damp flannel.

My experience with Dr Organic Virgin Olive Oil Face Mask:
The product comes in a cardboard package. There is a lot of information on the box. You can also see the product through the side opening. Once you open the package, there is a white tube with olive green patch with details of the product. The flip cap closes with a click and is travel-friendly. The tube is sleek and I love it. You cannot see the quantity through the tube as it is opaque.
The mask is white in color and is creamy. The consistency is rich and easy to spread it has that kaolin clay smell. It also smells fresh and you get a hint of olive in it. The application is pretty easy and you can use a brush or hands. I prefer to use a brush for even application. You can keep it on for 10-15 minutes and then use a damp towel or wash off with luke-warm water. I use a damp towel as with water, it creates a mess!
The product is very easy to apply. It glides on easily without any issue. The product, since it is clay-based, it does dry fast. The product dries within 8 minutes if you use a thin layer and around 12-15 minutes if a thick layer is applied. While it dries like a normal mask, it doesn’t stretch the skin which is great. The mask after being washed off makes the skin very soft and smooth. The product reduces oil from the skin and controls the sebum production throughout the day.
The skin feels a little dry after using and following up with a moisturizer is a must. The product doesn’t really get rid of dead skin cells. It reduces the pores on the skin. The product doesn’t cause any breakouts, but I didn’t find it very effective in reducing the pimples. The product adds a little radiance to the skin but it fades away pretty soon. The mask is free of SLS, synthetic colors, parabens, silicones and mineral oil. Overall, it is a good face mask but nothing very exceptional. Also, it is a bit expensive. So summing up
