Nothing better than a fruity, fresh fragrance to start your day! Right? No matter how sleepy, or dazed you are, these bubbly fragrances will elevate your mood and wake you right out of that slumber. I have been obsessed with Salvatore Ferragamo perfume and recently, on my last trip to Thailand, I picked their “Amo Ferragamo” perfume. Developed by perfumer Marie Salamagne, this perfume was launched towards the beginning of this year. Read on further for more details on this perfume.
Product Description:
A bright and glamourous eau de parfum in which elegant floral notes joyfully blend with crisp aromatic notes and mouthwatering fruity shades, offering a new daring bitter addiction.
The translucent bottle features a texture composed of tiny prisms which reflects the light as well as Salvatore Ferragamo’s deep passion for unique and precious materials. Amo Ferragamo is a daring, modern accord of glamour and passion. The fragrance opens with an explosive personality: The top notes are marked by an Italian Bitter Accord with Blackcurrant and Rosemary. The heart is light and feminine as a flower where Jasmine Sambac melts with the brightness of Mate Absolute and Rhubarb. The dry down finishes with a woody sweetness. The unique sensuality of Amo Ferragamo stems from its delicate blend of White Vanilla Tahitensis Absolute, Ambrox and Sandalwood.
Price:
$120 for 100 ml.
My Experience with Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Ferragamo Eau De Parfum:
I can’t stop talking about how beautiful the packaging is! It is generally one of the main reasons why I purchase Salvatore Ferragamo Perfumes. This perfume looks absolutely gorgeous! It looks like a giant piece of beauty. The perfume arrives in a stunning pinkish-purple glass bottle. The golden cap has the logo engraved on the top, which enhances the beauty of the bottle. The packaging is adorable and could suite teens to more mature women as well.
I love collecting fragrances and rarely spend the large amount of money to reinvest in the same scent more than once. The opening of this is like a blast of fruit and floral fragrance. The fragrance isn’t bitter at all, in fact, it’s a very soft fragrance and settles to a woody sandalwood fragrance. It opens up with a delicious fruity blast that gives an impression of a strong scent, however, it settles to a very smooth vanilla fragrance. I feel like this is one of the rare, versatile fragrance that can be worn all year-round.
The perfume smells great when you put it on, but after 2-3 hours it becomes so light that there is no sign of it. Moreover, the fragrance is very subtle for my liking and lacks sensuality. It’s like a sweet smell but also with a hint of a regular everyday perfume.
Pros of Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Ferragamo Eau De Parfum:
- Love the bottle.
- Can be worn as a daytime and nighttime perfume both.
- Good for sensitive olfactory senses.
- Everyday scent.
Cons of Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Ferragamo Eau De Parfum:
- Too heavy for travel purpose.
- Longevity is weak.
- Nothing unique about fragrance.
- Expensive.
IMBB Rating:
3.7/5
Would I Recommend/Repurchase Salvatore Ferragamo Amo Ferragamo Eau De Parfum?
No to both. I bought this bottle blindly and I honestly regret this purchase. I should have checked the longevity before burning a hole in my pocket.
