My Experience with Nature’s Essence Nature’s Organic Oriental Orange ‘N’ Lime D-Tan Scrub:
The face wash comes packed in a colourful orange themed tube with beautiful graphical prints of oranges on its cover. It shuts with a flip-flop lid which has no chances of product leakage. So, the theme looks quite tropical and is very eye catching. The hole in the tube dispenses the right amount of product for usage. The packaging is leak-proof, so it can be easily carried around. All the product details are mentioned on the body of the tube itself. The packaging is very sturdy. Overall, I love the how the brand has themed their packaging. It is quite unique.
Coming to the price point, all the newly launched products are very much affordable and well within one’s budget. Quantity is also reasonable and will last really long.
This face wash is white in colour and has a creamy consistency. It contains small orange exfoliating particles in it. It feels quite gentle on your skin and don’t rip your skin off the moisture.
The odour of this face wash is very refreshing. It smells like the yummiest orange flavour, which is very similar to the smell of Fanta. I love such fresh citrus fragrances during summer that totally boosts up my mood and provides me with a refreshing feel. The smell is not very overpowering at all and is great for summers. This fragrance does not linger around after you have washed your face. So, I’m sure it will not be a concern for people with sensitive noses too.
The product has a semi-thick consistency. So, it is easy to control the product flow. It lathers well but it is not super foamy. You would need a coin sized amount to cleanse your skin properly. The formulation spreads on the face evenly and is quite easy to work with. The scrub particles are able to exfoliate the skin properly. The fine scrub granules feel non-coarse on skin on massaging. After applying the scrub, these granules do not disappear completely to get absorbed into the skin. You will experience a gentle dead skin cell peel off treatment.
Usually before I begin the process of scrubbing, I use a steam treatment on my skin so that the pores get loosened up easily. This also helps in easy removal of blackheads and whiteheads. Following that, I take a pea-sized amount of the product and massage on my face in circular upward directions for about 5 minutes. After keeping for a minute more, I use my blackhead removing tool to get rid of these unwanted blackheads and whiteheads. My skin has tendencies of whitehead accumulation near the nose and chin area, so I focussed on these areas more. Then, I washed off the product with lukewarm water. This product is easy to rinse off as well. No residue is left after it is washed off.
Let’s talk about the efficacy of the product. This product thoroughly cleanses the face in the very first go. It leaves my face feeling super fresh and rejuvenated. It takes away all traces of dirt and grime effectively. This also erases all the dullness that your skin must have gone through due to the sun exposure. It leaves my skin so soft, smooth and moisturised. It gently exfoliates the surface dead cells and makes skin quite smooth to touch. It unclogged pores and shrinks the size of the pore areas.
This product is specially formulated to beat summer tan. As you all know, during summer such tan care products are mandatory, so I felt this D-tan face scrub from Nature’s Essence was worth giving a try. I have tried VLCC de-tan scrubs but they haven’t actually worked on me. This facial scrub gives a good radiance to the skin which is quite visible. It even brightened and refined my skin to a great extent. In the first few applications, you won’t notice much effect on summer tan but with regular use it does help in reducing the tan. It does not work on very old tan but if you use this patiently, this will prevent daily tan from occurring.
I have a tendency of having dry patches after using a scrub. But this scrub provides good hydration and it did not dry out my skin. This gentle scrub is well suited for dry skin beauties. I liked the cleansing power of this scrub. It doesn’t make my skin stretchy. I did not feel the need of an extra nourishment but you can always follow up with a moisturiser for extra hydration. This scrub works well as a base skin treatment before starting off with any makeup application.
It has worked quite well with whiteheads. In case of blackheads, it does work but it takes some time to show results. With regular use, the results will be more promising. I have been using this for a couple of weeks now and my skin feel more rejuvenated and radiant. In addition to that, it suited my skin well and did not break me out. Though, it did not give that luminous glow on the face as the product claims, but it definitely works well in removing surface cells for a smoother and brighter complexion. Overall, I am happy with the product.
I love using new tan removal products and I am really happy that this brand has come up with such awesome products at an affordable rate. I am using both the face wash and scrub for this range and the experience has been really good. With regular use, I am pretty sure this will keep tanning at bay and will reflect a radiant skin tone. So, you guys can surely check out this range and buy both the face wash and scrub for getting maximum benefit out of it.
