Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick Prom Night and Cherry Wet Review

Color: Bright shocking pink.

Texture: Very smooth and feels very light on the lips, but just like other very matte lipsticks, you have to use a lip scrub before applying these super matte liquid lipsticks or else they’d accentuate any dryness on the lips.
Packaging: Comes in a fine, transparent, plastic tube with a pink applicator and a star logo. Easy to store and would not go lost in your bag. The applicator is a lovely bent tip applicator that hugs the shape of the lips and makes for an easy application.

Longevity: It does not crumble or smudge even with a full meal or with light meals, I’d say it easily lasts upto 6-7 hours and after a full meal it pretty much stays as a bright lip stain. I mostly notice it disappearing from the centre of the lip after eating but that’s my problem with just about every lipstick. After a full meal, I do like to do a fresh coat always. This one is no exception. But i would still put it in a long lasting and comfortable wear lipstick category. I sometimes also like to use a lip pencil underneath these so that helps, but even without a lip pencil, these are fantastic.
Pigmentation: I’d say these are 80% pigmented, but if you have pigmented lips the color of your lips might show through; two layers give an opaque finish. And honestly you wouldn’t mind doing two layers because the texture is thin and it never cakes up on 2-3 applications and nor does it feel drying on lips. It’s a very comfortable formula and one of the best I have in my collection.

Skin Tones: All
Fragrance: Has a very mild unrecognisable fragrance. I did not even notice it until I literally sniffed the wand to pick the scent. 😛
Do I like It? Love this color. It’s soo blinding bright, but it’s not for everyone, I have to say that. I have already used it in two of my makeup looks and have worn it out with just nothing on the skin, just a bit of mascara and just bright lips… literally obsessed. 😀
Ideal for Indian Skin Tones: Yup, but this shade is not for everyone. If you like using super bright lipsticks, I would highly recommend you.

Do I like It? love the shade. It’s an easy to pull off color. Just the right amount of bright and enough to light up your complexion. It’s a very unique shade and excellent especially for warm complexions.
Ideal for Indian Skin Tones: Of course yes.
