Hi IMBBians,
I have my eye on the cleansing brushes by Clarisonic but since they are so expensive, I make do with manual face brushes till I can invest in the one I desire.I bought this face brush from my local Ulta store because of its affordability and its super gentle bristles. It serves its purpose well and is worth its price.
Product Description:
Earth Therapeutic’s redesigned complexion brush with a protective cap now comes with even softer bristles to cleanse the dead skin cells that can clog your pores and dull your complexion. The extra gentle bristles of this facial brush exfoliate away dead skin cells, leaving skin fresh and healthy. Use morning and night to reveal a softer, healthier and happier complexion.

My Experience with Earth Therapeutics Soft Touch Complexion Brush:
This face brush has a round head with a handle. The bristles are about 1.5” long and are tightly held in the round head. The head and the handle are made up of translucent plastic material and with regular use I have started to notice small cracks in the head. The handle could have been a little shorter so that less pressure is required while cleansing face.
The bristles are super soft – remind me of baby brush. A lot of consumers wrote in their reviews that the bristles are way too soft and are not meant for exfoliating and are not abrasive enough. To me, personally, that is not an issue since I use chemical exfoliants and peels on regular basis and it is not advisable to use physical exfoliants while using acids and peels.
I use this brush with face wash to create sufficient foam to cleanse my face and neck. I gentle massage my face with it to clean my pores, unclog them and gently remove dead skin. Because of the soft nature of the bristles, my skin does not get bruised or super dry and this is perfect since this makes this brush perfect for everyday use. After cleansing with this brush, my skin does not burn or turn red when I apply chemical exfoliants or acids such as Glycolic acid or Hyaluronic acid. Softness and gentleness of a face brush is a must feature for me and should be for all those who use chemical exfoliants.
This brush also comes with a protective cap which helps keep the brush sanitary and also keep the bristles safe while travelling. This brush is also perfect for gentle cleansing around eyes since skin around eyes is very sensitive and cannot bear any kind of abrasion. Those who desire super soft face cleansing brush should give this brush a try.
