I love trying new Korean skin care since they are quite gimmicky and fun to try. Today, I will be reviewing Neogen Dermalogy Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser.
Price:
INR 2500/US $27
Product Description:
Canadian Clay Pore cleanser is made with micro-particles of natural glacial marine soil, colloidal clay from West Coast British Columbia, Canada and carbonated water ingredients. This intensive pore mask instantly absorbs and cleanses away trapped dead skin cells, excess sebum, wastes, blackheads, and even makeup inside pores without any irritation or pain. It also minimizes enlarged pores, lifts up sagging skin, and evens out skin texture leaving skin clean, refreshed, and vitalized.
My Experience with Neogen Dermalogy Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser:
Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser comes housed in a white plastic jar with 120 gm of product in it. The cap of the jar is a twist-up jar. There is a brush that comes along with the mask that is densely packed and is soft to touch. The name of the brand and product is printed on the front of the jar.
Neogen Canadian Clay Pore Cleanser is a bubble mask which when applied on to the skin, carbonates and forms bubbles. It cleanses the skin deeply and pores became clean. The mask is supposed to be applied on the skin directly and within 5 mins, it forms bubbles on the skin. It is advised to let the mask fully carbonate and then use the brush that comes along with it to clean pores.
The mask lathers up quite nicely once it has been cleansed with the brush. I personally do not see any use of the brush since I am not a big fan of brushes when it comes to masks. After washing the mask off, I feel my skin looks clean and even toned. Also, the pores appear clean, but apart from that, I haven’t noticed any difference in the size of facial pores. I also didn’t feel it did any “lifting,” which this mask claims.
It does remove my blackheads, which was a blessing for me since I have severe blackheads problem around my nose. This mask is easy to wash off and has a really nice faint scent to it. This mask can also be applied on makeup and it removes makeup efficiently. I do not notice any trace of makeup after washing this mask off. It doesn’t remove waterproof makeup, though for that, you may need to have a waterproof makeup remover handy along with this pore cleanser.
