I recently reviewed a citrus-flavored foam cleanser from Etude House. I enjoyed using it a lot and last week, I emptied the tube. I have now moved on to another face cleanser by Etude House – Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam. I always buy face cleansers, lip balms and face masks as part of my Korean makeup haul. I do not hoard face cleansers the way I hoard mascaras or lip balms, but I do love to try out new facial cleansers and keep a pile of my all-time favorite cleansers and face washes. A good face cleanser should lather decently, clean face, and should not leave skin dry or stretchy, especially since my skin is very dry to begin with. I have tried a few drugstore face cleansers, but they were very drying on my skin, so I am on the lookout for non-drying, affordable options, and in that quest, I have picked up Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam.
Product Description:
The BB cream deep cleansing foam removes small dead skin cells and impurities from pores. With fine baking powder as primary cleansing and cleanses away stubborn dead skin cells and adhering BB cream with plant-derived rice bran powder as secondary cleansing.

My Experience with Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam:
The product comes in a white and blue tube packaging – it can stand upright in my bathroom skin cabinet. The size of the tube is 50 ml and has a twist cap to dispense product when the tube is squeezed. The product is dispensed in foam form which lathers up when mixed with water.
Most Korean products don’t have description or product details on the tube or on the website but the ones from Etude House do offer some brief description on their American website. The ingredient list is also available in detail. This cleanser contains gritty particles, which are apparently rice bran particles. This product is mildly abrasive and is gentle and kind to my skin. I have been trying this face wash once daily, for a week now and it was satisfying to note that it doesn’t dry out my skin or give that stretchy feeling to skin as most face washes do. It lathers well with water and a very small quantity is sufficient for my face and neck.
This face wash is perfect as a second-step cleanser and can be used after oil cleansing. I do like this cleanser but I do not recommend it to those who use face wash to remove their makeup instead of using a good makeup remover. It cleans a makeup free face really well but does not make remove makeup well or leave face squeaky clean as I desire from a face wash. So, either use it after a good makeup remover or on days when makeup is not applied.
This product has no fragrance, it lathers well, does not dry out skin and the baking soda clears out the pores well. It removes residual makeup and face oil and leaves face clean and ready for further layering of skincare.

Cons of Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam:

- It is not good for removing makeup and can be used only after a cleansing oil to remove makeup.
Would I Recommend Etude House Baking Powder BB Deep Cleansing Foam?
It is an affordable face wash which performs well and I do recommend it to all those who don’t wear makeup often or use a face wash after a good makeup removal.
