My Experience with OPI Nail Lacquer Alpine Snow, Malaga Wine:
The nail paint comes in the signature OPI packaging. It is a glass bottle and it has the brand’s tagline printed on it. But, the bottle does not contain much information about the product. It has a matte black colored plastic cap. The brand name is engraved on the top of this cap.
The applicator is attached to the cap. The applicator is of good quality and the bristles do not lose their shape. It picks up enough amount of the product. It spreads easily and covers the nail in one go. The packaging is nice, leak-proof and travel-friendly.
“Alpine Snow” is pure white nail paint. It is a basic glossy nail lacquer. The color is so beautiful and opaque and the finish is really lovely. This is a very versatile shade for a natural looking manicured nails. It is lovely for creating French manicure.
I love using it in combination with other nail paints for creating ombre nails. It is good for creating a variety of nail art. The nail paint is really pigmented and gives opaque coverage in a single swipe. It takes only a few seconds to dry out completely.
“Malaga Wine” is a rich true wine red color. The shade is really very beautiful and makes my hands look bright. This is a bold and bright shade, which makes it a perfect statement color for parties and weddings. It is devoid of any shimmers and it has a soft glossy sheen to it. This is a solid red color without any frosty or shimmery finish, which makes it a classy shade.
It is so pigmented and it has a good consistency that I don’t need more than two swipes to get a rich opaque finish. But, since this shade is so bold and pigmented it slightly stains the nails, so I need a lot of wipes to get rid of every stain of it.
The texture of the nail paint is good. It is neither too thick nor too runny. The smooth consistency makes the nail paints glide effortlessly on the nails. It looks smooth and even on the nails. Though it is pigmented it takes at least two swipes to achieve opaque and even color as it has little streaking issues in a single swipe.
It stayed nicely on my nails for some 4-5 days. In the meantime, it loses the intensity of the glossiness and it tends to look a little dull and starts to chip off. It is pretty easy to wipe off these nail paints. They come off very easily with the nail paint removers and nail paint remover wipes as well. They do not cause any harm to the nails. I am really satisfied with the quality of the product.
