Skin type: combination
Hi IMBBians,
How is life treating you? It’s been long since I read a novel or book and want to deep dive into one. Would love if you can share some names of interesting books or novels with me. My mind seems so disorganized of late and I end up doing a lot of stuff, but at the end of the day, I am not satisfied with how things went. I so want to improve my concentration and focus and hence thought that a book can help me achieve this. Jumping on to the review of the day. This comes from the FabIndia Kesar and Chandan range again. Along with the face wash, scrub and body lotion, I had picked the face cream too. We have often read that the products from the same range are supposed to be used together for best results. That’s why I picked up the entire range. Now, let’s get started with the review of this cream.
Price: INR 390 for 100 ml
My Experience with FabIndia Kesar and Chandan Face Cream:
Hope you liked my reviews of the face wash and face scrub. I had picked up the FabIndia Kesar and Chandan Face Cream also along with these. The packaging of FabIndia products looks quite rich due to the addition of the golden color. The Fab ndia Kesar Chandan Face Cream comes in a white colored tub packaging with a golden colored screw cap.
The packaging of this is quite similar to that of the scrub and this one too has a stopper inside, making it apt for the travel. Sometimes, I do get confused between the products due to packaging and hence keep the scrub in the bathroom while the cream is on my dresser. Once opened, the cream looks no less than mango ice-cream and I feel the urge to eat it. It is light peach in color has a mild fragrance of clay, same as that of the face scrub. Kesar does not have any fragrance of its own and the fragrance of sandalwood is extremely mild.
The texture of the cream is creamy and it is slightly oil-based yet light. Though for summers a water-based cream works well, this, however, did its work in moisturizing my skin leaving a mild sheen of the oiliness, which gives a glow to the face. The skin feels light and non-greasy. The cream is suitable for all skin tones as there is very minimal oil in it; it is sure to work on oily skin too. I have a combination skin and I was fine with using this moisturizer.
My skin felt soft and supple without any form of heaviness. The sandalwood is good for skin and keeps it cool and hence super apt for summers. The cream is apt to keep the skin calm and prevents any breakouts too. The cream has a lifetime of 3 years and will surely work in the dry climate too. It is easily available and can be picked from any FabIndia store at a super affordable price. This is my go-to cream for keeping my skin in a good condition for days to come.
Pros of FabIndia Kesar and Chandan Face Cream:
• Mild fragrance of sandalwood and clay
• Peach colored daily face cream
• Suitable for all skin types
• Affordable
• Gets easily absorbed by the skin
• Does not leave a greasy layer
• Gives a slight sheen
• Helps calm the skin
• Suitable even in summers

Cons of FabIndia Kesar and Chandan Face Cream:
• Tub type packaging is slightly impractical for usage
IMBB Rating: 4.5/5
