Sponsored Product by IMBB
Hi IMBBians,
This post is the review of a product that I bought through Sponsored Product Scheme of IMBB. Thank you guys so much!!! I have never had any good luck with curling iron. They damaged my hair too much and cause breakage because my hair gets dangled in the clamp or the edges. Thanks to IMBB I am getting an opportunity to try out a high-end curling iron. I read the reviews of several curling irons on Ulta website and narrowed my search to the one by Croc because, it was in my stipulated budget, had good reviews and appeared to be easy to use.
Product Description:
On the hunt for perfect curls? Look no further! The CROC Hybrid Curling Iron utilizes a spring-style clamp and Marcel-like rotating barrel to create beautiful, effortless curls. Lock the barrel in to use a traditional spring styling technique, or unlock it and allow the Marcel-like rotations of the barrel to whirl your hair into a masterpiece. Choose between three different temperatures from 370°F, 400°F and 430°F. The CROC curling iron features an advanced ceranyx (ceramic + onyx) barrel which constantly radiates far-infrared rays and negative ions into the hair while styling. Its dual voltage option is also perfect for travel.

$140
My Experience with Croc Hybrid Curling Iron:
This curling iron comes in a hard cardboard packaging. It does justice to the price of the product (looks expensive, practical and can be stored in a closet or carried for travelling). It has a 0.75” diameter barrel that gives not too tight nor too loose curls, that appear natural and gives a “beach wave” appearance to hair. The barrel is made up of advanced Ceranyx (ceramic + onyx). Once the barrel is hot enough. this material constantly radiates far-infrared rays and negative ions into the hair. It causes less frizz and damage to hair.
This curling iron has a unique feature – the barrel can lock in place or rotate to make it easier to wrap hair around it. It has a spring-style clamp and a Marcel like rotating handle which makes it easy for wrapping the hair around the barrel evenly and for quick and easy styling without causing hair to get tangled in the edges or the clamp. It has another unique feature – a cool tip temperature indicator. When the temperature is up to workable grade, a metal circle at the edge of the barrel turns white to indicate that the iron is ready for use.
This iron is feather light and has three temperature settings – double heating system heats up quickly and can reach a maximum temperature of 430F. It has an auto-shut feature as well which comes in handy while using heating tools in a rush. It has dual voltage, hence it is travel-friendly.
Overall, it is a good product and does what it claims. I enjoyed using it because, it did not tangle my hair nor make them brittle. It was smooth to run through my hair and didn’t tug or pull while making curls. It had less damaging effect on hair, especially when paired with a good heat protectant. No matter the price, I do recommend using a good heat protectant with any brand name heating tools.
Pros of Croc Hybrid Curling Iron:
- A good hair curling iron with less damaging effect on hair, but I still recommend a good heat protectant, especially to those who use heating tools on their hair on a regular basis.
- Has a unique material barrel – advanced Ceranyx (ceramic + onyx). Once the barrel is hot enough this material constantly radiates far-infrared rays and negative ions into the hair.
- Causes less frizz and damage to hair.

Cons of Croc Hybrid Curling Iron:

IMBB Rating: 4/5
