Hi ladies,
Today I will be reviewing my much awaited Morphe 702 Eye Brush Set. I was so excited to receive these in my mail after I ordered them via a friend in the US. This is a 12-piece brush set, which consists of both synthetic and goat hair brushes. I will be talking about each of these in detail. So without further ado, let’s get into the details.
Price: $25

Packaging:
All brushes came in a transparent plastic bag each individual packed. I wouldn’t say it was a very sturdy packaging, but for this price, I didn’t expect much out of it. This collection comes with a pouch – which is a faux leather zippered pouch in black colour. All brushes were inside the pouch when they arrived. All brushes have a wooden handle each which is black in colour and the brand name is printed in silver on all of them. Having a pouch makes it a travel-friendly option.
My Experience with Morphe Set 702 – 12 Piece Eye-Credible Set:
Concealer Brush (Synthetic Hair)
I use it for under eye concealer and it works just fine. It does not leave any streaks behind. It feels soft on the eyes plus it can be used for multiple techniques.
Flat Liner Brush (Synthetic Hair)
I use it for applying my liner. It does not leave any streaks behind and I could easily get a razor sharp wing with this one. I also use it for applying eyeshadows on the lower outer corner of my eyes using very light motion and it does the job well.
Angled Brow and Spoolie Brush (Synthetic Hair)
On one side, it has a spoolie which helps me comb out my brow hairs. Spoolie is exactly like any mascara wand. On the other side, it is a sharp angled brush which I use to apply my brow pomade and fill my brows up slightly and it works just fine.
Detail Crease Brush (Synthetic Hair)
I use it to apply my transition shade and in the crease of my eyes. I haven’t really used this much in comparison to the pointed crease brush. But yes, I use it to apply highlighter on the inner corners of my eyes. That way, it is just perfect.
Pointed Crease Brush (Synthetic Hair)
I use it to apply my transition shade in the crease of my eyes and it’s just perfectly sized for this purpose. It is neither too big nor too small. It makes blending my eyeshadows a bliss.
Detail Liner Brush (Synthetic Hair)
This one is super thin and I could easily create a winged eyeliner with this one. This gives a very precise application.
Pointed Blender Brush (Goat Hair)
This one is made of goat hair and feels a little bit harsher than synthetic hair. It helps a lot in blending 2 eyeshadow colour and let you achieve perfectly shaded lids
Large Shadow Fluff Brush (Goat Hair)
I actually use this for applying my blush and I feel this is just perfect for this kind of application. For eyes, this may be too big and could blend eyeshadow shades more than required. But for blush, this fits perfectly.
Blender Brush (Goat Hair)
To be honest, I haven’t really used this a lot because I like the pointed blender brush more than this one. So, I reach out for that one often.
Firm Blending Fluff Brush (Goat Hair)
This one does its job pretty well. I also use this apply my highlighter and it’s perfect.
Small Chisel Fluff (Goat Hair)
I use this to lightly pat glitter shadow on my lids. I use it wet with makeup fixing spray and then apply shadow. This trick gives super pigmented colour and reduces fallout as well.
Smudge Brush (Goat Hair)
This one is perfect for applying shadows in the outer corners of the eyes and lets you achieve a smokey look within few minutes.
Overall:
I really like this set. Each and every brush can be used for multiple techniques which is a great plus point.
