My Experience with Sigma E06 Winged Liner Brush:
Sigma brushes are considered to be one of the best in the market. These are professional brushes and popular among makeup artists. Sigma primarily makes brushes, however, they have other makeup products to offer as well. The Sigma Wicked Gel eyeliner is one of their bestsellers and so is the E06 Winged liner brush as they make a great combination.
These brushes are very decently priced. The price and quality of these brushes are comparable to those from Real Techniques. What is amazing about Sigma brushes is that they have so many brushes for various uses. All of the Sigma brushes are coded by a unique alphanumeric code and identified so.
Applying the perfect winged liner is a task and not an easy one. There are many brushes from Sigma for eyeliner application; in fact, around 19 of them. The Sigma E06 Brush has been created to ease the application of a winged eyeliner in specific.
The brush is a full-length brush with a black handle and silver ferrule. It comes with synthetic bristles which are densely packed and more firm, though slightly flexible. The handle is slim, which gives a good grip and makes it little convenient for application. The brush feels quite sturdy in the hand. The code “E06” is printed in silver on the handle.
The shape of the E06 Brush is advantageous to the purpose of creating a winged line. The bristles are yellow in color and form an angular pointed edge shape at the top. This makes it easy to fit on the eye and pull along the line to the desired length of the wing. The brush needs to be placed at an “angle” and then dragged across towards the corners of the eye. You can then draw back from the edge of the wing towards the eye to complete the winged liner.
The brush feels easy to use and the result is a sharp and crisp eyeliner. Similarly, this can be used to draw and outline the eyebrows. This brush also works wonders in applying the outer line on the lips. Yes, it gives a very precise and neat lipstick application.
The Sigma E06 brush works best with gel eyeliner powders. You can even use it to draw the eyeliner with an eyeshadow powder for a blended smokey line. I have washed it once and no shedding of the bristles was noted.
Overall, it’s a fabulous brush in terms of the utility and is of a superb quality and affordability. Since the quality is amazing, it will last many years, hence it’s kind of worth the investment. If you are a fan of the winged liner and struggle with it, this one is worth a try.
