Milani is an excellent drugstore makeup brand. In this post, I will be reviewing Milani Smooth Finish Cream to Powder Foundation in the shade “Medium Beige.” So, let’s see how this cream to powder foundation fared for me.

My Experience with Milani Smooth Finish Cream to Powder Makeup:

Packaging: Milani smooth finish cream-to-powder foundation comes in a gold-themed plastic compact. Inside the compact, there is a good-sized mirror. The compact houses a small, white sponge that helps to blend the foundation. The sponge is dense and blends the foundation easily on to the face. It gives me a smooth, even finish. Overall, the packaging of the compact is really sleek and travel friendly.

Shades: There are 13 shades in this Milani foundation range. The nearest shade to my complexion is “Medium Beige.” This shade is perfect for my skin tone. Overall, the shade range is really good and you can easily find a shade close to your skin tone.

Texture and Quality: The foundation has a cream-to-powder texture. The cream blends smoothly on the face. The sponge provided blends the product evenly on my skin. The foundation is semi matte in texture; however, the foundation looks really patchy and cakey on my skin. Even though I apply a minimum amount, the foundation looks cakey. It’s not very moisturising. There is no white cast. This foundation doesn’t have any fragrance. It doesn’t clog my pores.

Coverage: This foundation provides light-to-medium coverage. It hides my uneven skin tone and redness. However, my freckles and dark circles do peek through. I need to use a concealer if I need a higher coverage. I prefer natural-looking coverage; however, with this foundation, I can feel the heaviness on my face.

Staying Power: The staying power is really good with this foundation. It stays on for around 5 to 6 hours without oxidising. Since it has a semi-matte finish, it stays put on my oily skin without getting shiny.

Overall, this Milani cream-to-powder foundation is quite okay; I have better makeup foundations in my collection. I don’t think I will be using this product a lot.
