I recently bought 5 eyeshadows from Inglot. This was my first purchase from this brand and although I enjoy wearing these eyeshadows, I have never come around to buying more products from this brand. However, while writing this review, I am contemplating that perhaps I should invest more in this brand because they are reasonably priced and perform well.

My Experience with Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow AMC Shade 55:
I love the idea of wearing eyeshadow everyday; however, it requires some skill and a slightly longer “getting dressed time,” but if done with due diligence, it appreciably, enhances the overall look. It is important to note that not every eyeshadow color is meant for us. We need to be mindful of our skin tone, the kind of overall look we desire, the kind of skill and time we have, and most of all, if we feel confident enough to carry that look. For example, I personally prefer warm-toned shades and subdued color and the days that I feel daring enough, I do an all-out black smokey look.
With that in mind, I chose 5 eyeshadows from Inglot. #55 is a warm-toned, brick red color with very subtle shimmer in it, the right amount of shimmer that I feel comfortable wearing on my lids. I wear glitter eyeshadows only on my brow bone and that too if they are copper or gold toned.
Most of the Inglot eyeshadows are highly pigmented, but #55 is moderately pigmented and has to be packed on quite a bit to bring out the true color, but still, I feel it does not appear as intense as it appears in the pan. I prefer to use it for smoking out my eye look or blending the color. Like in the eye makeup look in this review, I have used it in my eye socket to blend the color and add mild sheen to my brow bone.
The product is decently priced and comes in a sturdy, square-shaped aluminium pan, and it can be attached in one of the palettes, sold separately on Inglot website. These palettes offer the chance to add and remove the eyeshadow pan of your choice. I tried to make my own custom-made palette (I bought a magnetic sheet and tried to make a DIY palette for myself to save some money), but it didn’t work out that well, so it kind of forces you to buy their empty palettes as well.
It is a beautiful color and appears very appealing, at least in the pan, I wish it appeared the same on the lid as well. I would refrain from buying this particular shade and will opt for something more pigmented.

Cons of Inglot Freedom System Eyeshadow AMC Shade 55:
- The pigmentation is not as good as other eyeshadows by Inglot.
- It does not appear as intense on the lid as in the pan.
- Best way to store this eyeshadow is in the empty palette sold by Inglot or it is prone to breakage, not travel friendly.
