Hello everyone!
I love Collistar products and use them regularly. I am currently using three face cream, alternating them as needed. They work very well for my skin type and I have seen improvements over the past year. So, I went ahead and bought quite a few items. Here is the review of Collistar Biorevitalizing Face Cream.
Price: $70 for 50 ml
Product Description:
Directly inspired by cosmetic medicine, this cream represent the true cosmetic alternative to revitalizing micro-injections practiced by dermatologists and the ideal daily treatment to keep the face young, toned and smoothed. Perfect always, it’s ideal when the skin appears tired, wrinkled and lacking in tone. A specialty to use daily to constantly revitalize the face. In a short time the skin becomes fuller, smoother and more compact, wrinkles are reduced, the face appears brighter and regains the vitality of youth.
Benefits:

Thanks to its unique formula, this product works on different levels. On the surface it makes the epidermis instantly ultra-smooth and compact, while deep down it • boosts the production of collagen and hyaluronic acid • redensifies and rebuilds the skin structure •improves elasticity and compactness of skin tissues • reduces wrinkles and prevents their for mation • reactivates the skin’s natural moisturization processes • combats cutaneous photo-ageing and chrono-ageing
How to Use:
Apply to the face and neck (avoiding the eye contours) morning and/or night, with a light massage.
My Experience with Collistar Biorevitalizing Face Cream:
The face cream comes in a glass jar which is white and navy blue in color. I love the packaging. It looks luxurious but not very travel-friendly as the glass jar makes it heavy. I normally scoop out a little face cream in a smaller plastic bottle when am travelling so that I save on space and weight.
The lid is plastic which works just perfect. There is also an inner flap lid which prevents the cream from sticking to the outer lid which I really appreciate. The product also comes with a small scoop for everyday use. Many people do not like digging into the jar due to hygienic reasons. I am little lazy to use the scoop and prefer fingers.
This whole packaging comes in a cardboard packaging with all details written on the cardboard packaging. The texture of the cream is like soft butter. I love using it with my fingers. I feel the cream spreads very very well all over the face since its so creamy and not so thick. The product practically melts as you massage it into the skin. I love working with it.
The cream comes with a roller massager. It is recommended to use the roller every time you cream your base. The massager has soft plastic sheets which are square shaded and piled irregularly. SO the pointy ends of the square create the pressure points and hence increases blood flow and so on.
I personally did not like the massager as its quite big and also cleaning it every time you use is not for me. I would feel uncomfortable if I used it without washing it every time. So I personally do not use it. The cream is white in color and has a very mild floral fragrance. The fragrance is so mild that it can be noticed only during the initial few minutes. This product has no added color or fragrance which I find great.
The cream gets absorbed instantly leaving the skin semi-matte. It works well for skin types including sensitive skin like mine. The face cream works as a good base for makeup. I top it with foundation and they work like a miracle looking semi-matte. I use setting powder only under my eyes and forehead.
I personally use this cream on the weekends as it claims to work on wrinkles. I do not have visible wrinkles but would like to prevent it. I also feel I don’t get the best of it when applied makeup over it. So I use it during weekends as a night cream and sometimes morning cream when am home and know that I won’t apply any makeup on top.
I have seen that my face skin has improved a lot and looks much supple and glowing. I use 3 Collistar creams and I would like to give credit to all of these 3. But I am sure that using just one would provide noticeable results.
Pros of Collistar Biorevitalizing Face Cream:
• Non-greasy
• leaves the skin semi matte
• Gets absorbed instantly
• Suitable for sensitive skin
• A good makeup primer
• Can be used as a day as well as night cream
• Mild fragrance
• Results in radiant skin
• No added color, fragrance
Cons of Collistar Biorevitalizing Face Cream:
• Expensive
• glass jar
IMBB Rating: 4.8/5
