Hi everyone,
I do not have much to talk about the product in the intro. I got this product as a gift and had to review it because that is what IMBBians do. But I just want to warn you guys regarding the lip swatch. Please do not faint. I know it looks terrible, but that is the best I could do with it. To know more, read the review.

My Experience with Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Lip Colour 200 Pink Blink:
Packaging:
The product comes in a frosty, transparent glass tube with a curvy, black cap. You can easily see the color of the product through the tube and it is easy to identify the one you need if you have many from the range. The screw cap closes tightly and is very travel-friendly. The applicator is a doe shaped sponge applicator which applies the product evenly and neatly. Overall, considering the price, the packaging is simple and good.
Color:
This is a dusty, rose pink color which is a great nude option for fair-medium skin tones. But for deeper skin tones, it will be a complete disaster. It washes out such skin tones badly and looks very odd. If you have pigmented lips, the case will be worse. I will discuss this aspect soon.
Pigmentation:
The pigmentation of the product is pretty good and 1-2 swipe are enough to cover the lips. However, stories are different if you have pigmented lips. One swipe won’t be enough to cover the pigmentation. Now if you start layering over that, the whole thing becomes patchy and uneven and you will see hints of your pigmented lips beneath the lipstick. The solution is to add layers only when the first layer dries out completely. It takes around 30 seconds. Please be patient with that.
Texture:
The liquid lipstick has a velvety, mousse type texture that can be applied easily. It is similar to that of the lipsticks in NYX Lip Lingerie range. Once it is applied, it is very dry and matte. Adding layers of balm over it does not change the fact. Make sure to exfoliate and moisturize the lips well before applying the product. It may become too patchy otherwise.
I suggest avoiding this product in winters as it dries out the lips completely. I generally use it with some dark creamy lipstick to balance out the color and texture. But then, again, like other lip paints, this does not blend well with anything else and the lipstick looks layered. The application is very tricky with this one. You need to invest a lot of time to make this work perfectly.
Staying Power:
The product once dried is totally transfer-proof. It never moves out of the lip lines. It is waterproof and if you eat heavy food, mild fading can be seen from the middle of the lips. It stays intact for 4-5 hours after which the layers may fade out and a little peeling can be seen at the edges. You need a good oil-based remover to get rid of it completely.
