Product Description:
A revitalizing lotion with active ingredients from fresh Jeju pomegranate squeeze for vibrant and healthy skin.
1. Active ingredients in Jeju pomegranate squeeze treat five signs of skin aging – loss of moisture, vibrant energy, glow, firmness and wrinkles – to keep the skin healthy and vibrant.
2. Ellagic acid in Jeju pomegranate squeeze treats signs of skin aging caused by external irritants and strengthens the skin’s self-defensive power to help stay healthy.
3. Botanical-derived squalane forms a moisture barrier on the skin to keep it moist and smooth.
How To Use:
Release an appropriate amount onto your hand, and apply evenly onto your face and neck. Gently pat for better absorption.
My Experience with Innisfree Jeju Pomegranate Revitalizing Lotion:
This range from Innisfree claims to revitalise your skin. It contains five products and you’re supposed to apply this lotion after the eye cream and before face cream. I do not own any other product from the range and use this lotion every day. It comes in a beautiful red packaging; the color signifies the main ingredient, i.e. pomegranate.
The lotion comes in a bottle with a screw-on cap, and the bottle comes in a cardboard box with all the information. You need to pour the product out but it leads to accumulation of lotion around the mouth of the bottle. You can, of course, clean it but it leads to product wastage. This is not a big product but a pump would have helped.
The lotion is very lightweight and spreads easily. It takes a little while to get absorbed but it’s okay with me since this is usually the last step in my skincare regime. I just need a little amount and it’s sufficient for my face and neck area. It has a very refreshing fragrance, not particularly of pomegranates though.
I apply this lotion after applying my toner and I don’t have to use a face cream after this. This one is moisturising enough, even in winters. One suggestion – do not go overboard with the lotion; it might seem super light but can make your skin greasy if applied in excess. I feel this lotion is best suited for dry and mature skin types, which require plenty of hydration.
It makes my skin quite vibrant and healthy, and the effects are not short-lived. It makes your skin look instantly radiant and the skin actually improves with regular usage. My skin now remains forever moist and smooth. Unlike cold creams, it does make my skin look oily or dark in winters. It keeps my skin moisturised yet fresh.
I just have hormonal acne on my skin right now. This lotion hasn’t led to any breakouts. Still, I would not recommend this lotion to oily or even combination skin types. I feel this is a good winter lotion but would not suit my skin in summers. I’ll keep using it this winters to keep my skin healthy.
Overall, I must say this is a good pick. It totally delivers good value for money. I apply it under my makeup and my skin remains moisturised throughout the day. It actually brightens up the skin really well, even the under eye area looks radiant and my puffiness appears less prominent.
