My Experience with Etude House Body Spot Patch:
Let’s begin with the packaging of the product. These body patches comes in very cute, purple-colored plastic pouch with cute prints on it in white and green. Since this packet contains a variety of different-sized body patches, it is re-sealable to prevent the patches from drying up. It closes very securely and makes the packet airtight. There is some product-related information printed on the top in Korean language while the back of the packet bears all necessary product-related information in both Korean and English. The actual patches come on a plastic sheet. There are two sheets inside – one contains a huge body patch for large scars while the other one has 9 circular and two rectangular small-sized patches. Overall, the packaging is cute, easy-to-store and travel friendly.
Some patches are circular and some are rectangular. These may be used depending upon the size of the scar. They have a sticky gel side on the inner side and this side has to be pasted on the skin while the outer side has a cute kitty kind of character printed over it. Applying this patch is simple. Peel the patch from the transparent sheet and place it on the targeted site. Press it firmly so that it adheres the skin nicely, leave it around for 10-12 hours to let it work. Though keeping something on the skin for such a long time seems tedious, but these patches are super comfortable and they do not irritate skin. I apply it at night and let it work overnight.
Unlike the cheek patch, this one is absolutely fragrance free. Though I could feel something on my skin, it does not really irritate or bother. On initial application, it feels slightly cool. The adhesiveness of these patches is of great quality. The patches stay on for the whole night and do not peel off. The gel on the patches has calamine and salicylic acid that helps to diminish and lighten the scars. It feels so soothing on the skin. Though they do not work miracles in a single use, but definitely they start to work with the very first use itself.
These patches lighten fresh scars easily with two to three uses while the old scar take a bit long to lighten and may not disappear completely with a few uses. You have to use these patches regularly to get rid of them.
Overall, I like this product. I have got severe acne on my legs because my skin reacted badly to waxing this time. Though, I had never faced such a problem in the past, this time my skin broke out. The acne problem took long to heal but left behind scars on my legs. I had used these patches on my legs as soon as the acne dried up. I was amazed to see that the scars were around 50% lighter with a single use.
